Hotel location was excellent, room a bit on the small side but adequate. The staff were absolutely fantastic and made our stay very pleasurable and without doubt would recommend to others looking for value for money.
Lovely little hotel, super close to the beach. Standard rooms were very small but not a problem if all you need is a place to sleep! Great service and they offer free beach equipment and a great deal for the private area on the beach! Breakfast was fairly minimal but, did the job if you just want a quick bite
The location is one block from the promenade and next to the old city, very convenient. The hotel is very clean and the staff personable and friendly. Breakfast is reasonably priced in French terms; sidewalk cafes think one ounce of coffee is all you should have. Italian hotels usually have huge hot buffet but the French prefer roll and small coffee. My only complaint is that the room was very small. Yet keep in mind the cost is very reasonable.
The hotel is perfectly located, near the beach and also near the old town. Rooms are quite small, but with new furniture and bathroom. The hotel stuff was excellent, willing to help. We enjoy the stay a lot!
The staff at this hotel is very customer service oriented. Nadia, Cristiana, and Olga were outstanding!! Something happened with our first night's reservation, but Nadia quickly fixed the issue and found a room for us to stay in. We had to switch rooms the next day but it was not a problem since they let us move our luggage the very next morning to new room. Very accommodating to us the whole time. We would definitely stay here again!!!!
I loved my stay at this hotel. It started with a very warm welcome and the staff were brilliant and friendly throughout the stay. It's a great location one block from the beach and a very short walk to all the action in Place Masséna and the old city. The room was big, modern, clean and very comfortable. And it's great value for money - even in peak season. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Nice
We are still here as I write this. I love this hotel. The room we had was small but lovely. Right on to the patio area which I loved. The staff are extremely helpful. It was very hot and the air conditioning was not adequate for me. I was given a fan which helped lots. The breakfast is nice too. The hotel is right in the centre of things and rue de France is a lovely and buzzing street where you have an extensive choice of bars shops and cafes without having to walk at all. Actually on the doorstep of the hotel. I will definitely stay again.
Very Nice and good, clean small hotel, Very good location Close to everything and walking destance to all. Romantic hotel, breakfast only ok nothing speciel, room Very small but clean and nice. But good value for the money compare to Other hotels In Nice
We stayed for two nights - the hotel is in a brilliant location. Couldn't ask for better. Easy to catch the airport bus, right near the beach and town. Rooms / bathrooms are very small but ok for a short stay. Very clean and tidy hotel. Breakfast was limited we felt with no hot food (unless you cook your own eggs) so to pay €12 each was a bit high. All the staff were lovely, however the manager / owner was not! We had booked a superior double room via booking.com. This meant the room was to come with a balcony, bath and fridge. We did not have any of these things in our room. Upon checking with booking.com they confirmed we should have had a different room and informed us to speak to the manager. As we were only staying for two nights and the hotel was full I was not going to request a move, we were not too bothered about missing these things (although granted it would have been nice to have them) but I just wanted to ensure that upon check out we would not be charged for a superior room. As soon as I mentioned the situation to the manager she became totally defensive and extremely rude. She insisted there was not a problem with the booking and we had the room we had asked for. She did not want to view my booking confirmation on my phone and she kept saying I did not understand what she was saying. I was polite throughout the conversation but i was really shocked at her attitude. It seemed that between the hotel and booking.com the booking information had not been checked / passed on properly. The manager blames booking.com and they blame her! Whoever was at fault it certainly was not us, I was simply saying to her that it was not a problem we had a different room but we did not want to pay for the superior room when that is not what we had. The manager continued to tell me there was no mistake and that was that. She then rang booking.com and proceeded to have an argument with them (in French so I could not understand what was said but she was not happy). She then told me to go to our room as she had another call to make. She did not come back to me about it and I did not want to get into another conversation with her about it as booking.com said they were sort it out with her. We did have a bottle of wine in our room to say sorry we were unhappy. Upon checkout the manager did apologise about the mix up and refunded our breakfasts for both days. I am not one to complain and I would have just left it without writing this review but her attitude was so awful - I have never experienced someone being so defensive and awful to a customer for something that is not their fault! I was not even asking to move rooms! It is evident from the answers on this page from management to anyone who criticises the hotel that she cannot deal with matters in a non defensive manner. A real shame as the other staff were lovely. I will now always book chain hotels where this type of response is unlikely to happen given they have to give good customer service. Very shocked and disappointed
The hotel was small and charming and it was in a great central location to easily walk to the shops, the beach, the port and the old town. The room was comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The courtyard is very pretty with little tables and chairs and a fountain.
