I really enjoyed staying at Le Negresco. I was upgraded to a deluxe room with a partial sea view and felt like a king. On check-in, I received a private mini tour of the hotel. The luggage was brought to the room. The breakfast was fabulous. The ambience reminded me of a palace. It was superb! Thank you very much for the superior experience!
It’s really disappointing to find that a property that prides itself of its quality and history, dares to present a room with details of lack of maintenance that were really unacceptable, even for a one star hotel. A hotel in that category has to be perfect in every single detail. If I had the space I would show pictures, stains in carpet, screws in doors to hang DND signs and much more, really horrible experience!
After four days at hotel my daughter and two children stopped in the lobby by security/bouncer asking her if she is staying in the hotel, after her “yes” he follows her and insists on her room number, intimidating, annoying, insulting and rude. Others not stopped. Lovely hotel otherwise!
Suite is very unconfortable with double beds eith a huge go un the middle. Bathroom is old and water temperature does jot mantain - property is pretty due to art work but as hotel it is not a 5 star hotel. We had an incident the first night of our suite smelling like weed. The solution was a very noisy junior suite eith our stuff left on the other room. A complete mess I wont be staying here again
The room was good but the view was non-existent..It was of a blocked window for their other building..SAD

Obviously this hotel is one of the best in the world, but Julia upon receiving us at the reception desk is the epitome of hospitality. Pleasant, informative, expeditious and most of all kind!!!
