Great dining just a couple of blocks away. The room was decent - small but that goes with the area. Parking was a bit of a mess. The staff was very friendly and their English was good, which was helpful.
The location is the best ! Close to shopping area, restaurants , old town and Masséna plaza. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast great. Room was clean and quiet.
First of all, the rooms do not look the same as the rooms that are posted by the website. When I inquired about this to the management I was told the rooms on the website are deluxe rooms. The room I received was very small, sweltering hot from the heat being left on and no air conditioning as posted on the website, the carpet smelled of odor, and after the maintenace guy brought up fans to cool off the room, he began scrubbing 4 spots on the carpet while I sat on the bed and watched him. He made no attempt to dry the floor areas he scrubbed. Simply left them wet, said he would be back and never returned. The mgr was extremely rude! Constantly talking over me as I expressed my concerns and was short with me when I showed him what the website stated. Not only that, but there was construction going on in the main lobby right in front of the elevators with noisy drills and cosmetically unpleasant to look at. I told the mgr that they should alert guest on the website when they are under construction. The dining area was a joke! I pulled a couple of dirty glasses and wound up asking for disposable cups because I didn' t trust the hygiene of the dishes after that. Their are no ice machines on the floors, and when I asked for a bucket of ice, I was given a small dish with ice in it. Breakfast had a good spread but that's the only thing this hotel had going for it. This Best Western Plus definitely does not meet the standard of quality that other Beat Western hotels have. Stay away!!
