Very clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and attentive. The buffet breakfast was very good. I’m sure that this hotel is a better choice than all the others available.

The only negative comments I can offer is that a couple of outlets didn’t work, one lamp was out over the counter, and a little more sweeping in the corners. Other than that, the staff, breakfast, location deserves a review above 5. Yes, it’s on the U.S. side but it’s a quick walk across the International Rainbow Bridge and you are in Canada. We also were high enough to see the fireworks over the falls. Giacomo, we will be back!!

Having the front desk staff double as a valet was sometimes bothersome, as they would be away from the desk for long periods of time. The fitness center was small, had some rusting equipment and really did not measure up to the rest of the hotel. The rest of the hotel was wonderful. The room and bathroom were large beautiful and clean. The bar has an amazing aesthetic, and the breakfast was wonderful!

I loved the vintage, Victorian & loft feel the room creates. Everything was so clean and neat. The breakfast was very good!!! Staff was so sweet, even gave us a vase for my roses that my boyfriend got me for valentines day! Helped take pictures of us in the foyer as well. Nice quiet get a way if you're looking to be in the heart of Niagara Falls but not in the middle of everything but only seconds down the road! & remind you it's BEAUTIFUL inside with marble & pretty light fixures. cookies sit in the foyer in the evening with milk which was so good! & they're very good with late check in & late check out.

My wife and I came here for our 10 year anniversary and loved it! It had so much character and uniqueness unlike a chain hotel. It was very quiet mostly adults and we got to know the friendly staff very well. It was conveniently situated within walking distance of everything and loved the views from the 19th floor lounge. Their buffet breakfast every morning that was included was very good.

Excellent location near the Niagara Falls and the park and the bridge to Canada. Lots of restaurants around, a casino buffet, and especially Indian food. Rooms large and quiet, and a view from the top floor of the nightly fireworks by the falls. Breakfast was satisfactory, and the rooms have a nice coffee maker. Staff was helpful. It towers over the landscape, so it's easy to find. ;-)

This hotel is in a great location within walking distance to the falls. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were large and comfortable. They also had a complimentary breakfast which was all made fresh and was delicious.

Everything was great. Very nice hotel and staff! Excellent amenities!

The hotel is a historic spot in Niagara Falls NY. I was disappointed in our room size, it was very small. We could barely move past each other in the room. There was not enough drawers for our clothes. It was a room for one person.

We arranged to check out late an got held up beyond when we thought we'd be back to check out. Manager was clearly not happy with us but very gracious given the circumstances. Saw him out front sweeping the sidewalk as we ate breakfast. Clearly pride in the facility.

Having never visited Niagara Falls before and hearing stories of the American side being trashy, my husband and I were leary about booking a hotel room. However, we decided on The Giacomo, and we are so glad we did. This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms were fantastic. We felt we were staying in an upscale hotel in some big city, from the beautiful artwork on the walls to the oversized walk-in shower with comfy robes and slippers for our use. Breakfast was nice with your usual hot choices as well as fresh cut fruit and pastries. The lounge on the 18th floor provided fantastic views of the river, Falls and the Ontario side skyline. Also, you can walk everywhere from The Giacomo. Loved this hotel. If we ever go back, this is definitely where we will stay.

My family and I visited Niagara Falls for my birthday and next to the breath taking experience on the Maid of the Mist, the Giacomo hotel left us with lovely memories. From the time we entered the hotel, the staff was kind and helpful. Big shout out to Jeffrey at the front desk! He was super accommodating and friendly. In addition to the amazing staff and great location to the Falls and restaurants, we loved the chocolates left in our room and the cookies at night. One evening, we had cookies and milk delivered to our room...so sweet. If you decide to stay at this hotel, be sure to go up to the lounge on the 19th floor, amazing view at night. Great hotel for the price.

My wife and I had to wait a couple days to get some medical tests completed. So we decided we would visit Niagara Falls in the winter. We visit the Falls at least once a year in the summer, but never stay overnight because we live in nearby Rochester. We were pleasantly surprised to find their "OBSERVATION DECK" at the top of the hotel. A great view of the entire "Falls" area including Canada. A truly spectacular view at night with all the lights including the lighted falls and river. All visible from the comfort of the indoor facility. The deck is equipped with TV, couches, chairs and even a very clean restroom. The Giacomo is located in the center of everything. Across from the culinary institute, one block the Seneca Niagara Casino and one block to the falls. The facilities, staff and accommodations were exceptional. We highly recommend this hotel!@
