Skyline Hotel & Waterpark

3.0 out of 5.0

We enjoyed having fairly easy access to the waterpark. But the layout is just strange and confusing. Imagine arriving after a long drive and you enter the lobby to register but need to visit the bathroom *quickly*. Surprise, there's no bathrooms available anywhere in the hotel unless you're in your room. Instead, you are sent back across the parking lot to the Perkins restaurant. Unbelievable. The "courtyards" are interesting, but they do movie-night so be prepared to hear movie and kids right up until 10pm. Not the end of the world, but something to be aware of if it's important to you.

Had a great time with family at Skyline. The waterpark was a lot of fun and the service at all locations were efficient and friendly. The Starbucks incentive was a creative way to motivate guests to use housekeeping.

Mold, mildew, broken hot tubs, broken vending machines, neighbors were screaming obscenities all night, hotel staff didn't help or compensate .

Great hotel walking distance to everything. Right over the border. Friendly staff. Parking garage is very convenient.

It was an okay hotel, but there were some basic things that I wouldn't expect from a mid-range hotel. For example the coffee pot water reserve was filled with coffee grounds and made a huge mess when I went to use it, as there wasn't room for the water and I gave up on making coffee from it. The shower had a dispenser for a product that was labeled shampoo, conditioner, and body wash... but it was basically just cheap body wash that isn't meant for hair. Last the wifi simply did not work as on any device I connected with could not even load the webpage to enter in the hotel code. Basically, you are better off at a Day's Inn or something cheaper and closer to the waterfalls.

The hotel is probably more of a 2 star then a 3 star. I have stayed at a lot of hotels and other 3 stars are much better. This property is a little "tired". But the real issue is the parking. The underground parking at the hotel is tiny and limited. So you need to park at the waterpark/casino parking garage which is not convenient. We got a discounted rate but not by much.

Great location, walking distance to most attractions. Large rooms and comfortable beds. Would recommend to families and friends .

This hotel is located 5 mins walk to Niagara Falls and close to every thing . But they also charge resort fee and parking fee . From out hotel looks good but inside it looks wear out and rooms are smelly .

i read in the reviews for a 50 birthday they had a banner on the door and a card. we got nothing. the room was fine, but we should not have had to pay a resortr fee. we took the water, but nothing else.

The bathroom sink drained very slow. It was very noisy after 10 pm on the floor above us. The bathroom was two small for 6 people. The bunk bed for the children was in a cubby hole and no way for the air conditioner to accomadate .Very warm in there. We did not know the Waterpark passes were for two days until late the first night. We only were able to use them the second day we were there. There was no TV the first night they were having trouble until the next afternoon. The front desk employees were very nice.

The kids really enjoyed the indoor waterpark. The hotel is not far from the falls.

Hotel was clean, staff very kind. Room was small and the bathroom was very small and very very cold. Loved that the water park was so close to the hotel.

I went here for a 50th birthday celebration with 2 of my GF's. It was easy finding our room as it had a Happy Birthday banner across the front and a card for me as well! Never had any place do that before! The room was spacious for 3 women, the bathroom was nice and plenty of space to put all our stuff. It was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. It was a nice place.

No microwave and a guy below us complain because my kids were walking around the room. Not a lot of food delivery options as well.

Location was good...close to the action, but hotel is just ho hum.The $ was good.

Promised guaranteed late arrive and they cancelled my reservations. Room was difficult to find. Carpet in the "courtyard" area. Room smelled awful. Very bad experience.

the rooms were very nice, and you can't beat the location.

Water Park Package is the best option! Staff is very nice and always corteous and helpful!

The hotel is a great place for kids because it is connected directly to the Indoor Waterpark. It was especiall ygreat because it stormed the entire afternoon we were there!

I traveled with my wife and 2 kids aged 3 & 8. This place is perfect for our family and I highly recommend the water park package. The hotel is in the heart of everything allowing easy access to walk to all the local sites. It is a short drive from Marineland. On a side note and a well deserved thank you to the hotel staff, from the front desk, bell man and especially to the house keeping who brought us clean sheets after my son got ill twice(maybe too many rides at Marineland). They were prompt and delivered with a smile. I'm a clean freak and this place was clean. Overall, I would return time and time again and may make this a yearly trip for the family.
