Budget Inn

The hotel was dated but the staff was friendly enough. We didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel since we were out looking at the sites. It was clean and served its purpose.

Clean rooms, quiet neighbors, no road noise. The waffle house next door is great. Best value for the price in Williamsburg. I will definitely be back!

This hotel is quiet, clean and a great value for the money. It is in the heart of the tourist district and within 5 minutes walking distance to 3 eateries. Two shopping centers are nearby.

the location was idea the room clean the tv was old and staff attentiveness could have been better.

We have stayed at the Budget Inn Motel before. It is clean, cheap, close to our destination. There are no frills and don't expect much interaction with hotel manager. The bathroom setup was tight - toilet really close to the wall and no bathroom fan. The price was good for the amount of time in the room.

They put us in their back building, which was isolated and next to the woods. The window was cracked and the room was freezing when we entered. Took a while to get the heat to actually make a difference. The back wall was not a wall but a sliding glass door facing the woods, with only a small metal hook standing in the way between us and a potential axe murderer. The only thing I will give them was that their bed was extremely comfortable. You get what you pay for, and for $38 I guess it was ok. Staff was nice.

I was a little concerned when the hotel didn't initially have confirmation of our reservation, but it was found. While the room was of 'old style' with a key rather than a card, it was clean, comfortable and very accommodating. The shower curtain should have been replaced or cleaned better, and a curved out shower curtain bar would be perfect. The towels were so much better than the thin, small ones as budget chain motels.

We booked this room as nothing more than a bed to sleep in for a small family. It delivered an the room was actually clean and comfortable. Great value.

The room was very clean and the beds are very comfortable, the staff was also very nice and helpful, they also have a pool nothing huge, but it is very clean, the location was also great to close to busch gardens ,jamestown, ripleys believe it or not museum, pretty much anywhere you need to be,i would also recommend staying here again and recommending it to my friends and family

My husband and I have season passes to Busch Gardens and Water Country and spend alot of time in the Williamsburg area. We had previously stayed at a 'chain' hotel and the previous stay was a major nightmare for us so we looked for somewhere else to stay. Orbitz put us in line with our perfect getaway and we plan on using the Budget Inn again next season. This is perfect for us. We previously paid for amenities that we never used and didn't need. The Budget Inn is safe, quiet and most of all clean. The owners are polite and friendly.

This is a great place for the nightly rate. I would definitely stay here again. The room was basic, but it was clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. This is a good find!

We stayed here one night while on a fall golf trip. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the price was terrific and the room had a microwave and mini-fridge. The diner next door was great for breakfast. Our room was in the four-plex on the far side of the pool. (The property has several one-story buildings--maybe 25 units total.) The heater kept the room cozy all night (but was a little noisy.)

i liked it.it was cozy. doesnt have continental this or that but it was quiet and cozy. i enjoyed the scenary.

great

while I was there I had to take a cold shower because the hot water heater did not work found bugs in the room and a pubic hair laying in the bathroom floor also what appered to be a blood stain on the bathroom wall. reserved 2 nights only stayed one when confronted about our issue of hot water was told to wait 30 min. we feel asleep and in the morning so all the other problems wife tried to take shower but water was still cold. I tried to get refund but just got the run around when I talked to them last they said they called the health department on theirselves and if I posted any bad reviews they would sue me so if you want to sue me go ahead. still waiting on refund

We were able to get a room key before our room was ready so that when we came back later in the day, we didn't have to bother with registration. Bed was comfortable; new plumbing fixtures; coffee maker, refrig., microwave in the room. Very close to Colonial Williamsburg. Good waffle house next door that gave a 10 per cent discount because of our motel accommodations. Super value!

Older motel so don't expect all the glitz but, if you are looking for a clean, quiet place to stay, this is it. Staff very friendly, room very clean, would definitely recommend to others and will stay again if in area.

I had a king-size bed in a non-smoking room. The front desk clerk was helpful, particularly in describing how to get to areas around Williamsburg. The room and the bathroom are small: the bed fills almost one half of the room. The sink and toilet were clean; however the bath tub faucets had not been cleaned and the tub itself could have been cleaner. The remote control for the television was only partially working: one can change channels but the rest of the options do not work. A small refrigerator and microwave oven are provided and are working. The air conditioner worked fine. There is an adequate swimming pool in the center of the courtyeard. However the landscaping around the pool and the room could be improved: weeds were plentiful among the flowers. In this price category of motel I probably would search elsewhere.

Very close to Williamsburg and Jamestown and price was very good. However, it needs a lot of updating--old decor and fixtures. Pool needs tile repair. Not resort quality, but we had a good nights sleep.

The room smelled kind of musty. The bathroom was old and outdated. The room itself was ok. The hotel room had a very large TV in the room, which I was not expecting for a inexpensive hotel like this. The pool was nice.
