Good Value

There are some great things about this Hotel. First the location is right off the main road so it is very easy to get to where you need to go. The Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms have been updated with new beds and USB chargers, and the pool is very nice. I found the bed clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was good with excellent pancakes. For the overall price of the Hotel I would say it is a good deal. They could make the stay better by going through the rooms and cleaning up the rough paint where a roller hit a door or in my room there was pain all over the front door. At some point the Elevators need to be overhauled or replaced. They show the age of the Hotel and are in rough shape. Where the TV is mounted to the wall, there is a box behind it and I think there is a large hole to the other room. I can hear people talking from behind the TV as if they were in my room. The WiFi did not quite reach my room. Overall, it was a good value for the price of the room with friendly staff and I would stay again.

Greasy place to stay!

Nice hotel that is near the parks. Rooms are nice, pool is nice. Breakfast and parking are free… BIG bonus. It’s not a Hilton, but it’s very user friendly, clean and easy!

Hotel was very hot and sticky with that came the smell of mildew throughout the building. Our bedroom door wasn’t properly aligned and we could see out into the hallway when the door was shut. There was so much gum stuck to the carpet that when we took a shower the floor would be sticky and with no exhaust fan in the bathroom the whole room would become humid. There wasn’t much for breakfast mainly just cereal and bread assortments. Lastly the WiFi was horrible and the tv would freeze every two minutes. Good location if you plan on spending a lot of time at Busch Gardens but if not stay somewhere else.

The rooms need updated furniture, table chipped up, blinds had holes and splattered ?liquid, lamp shade in bad shape. No blow dryer or iron in the room. The breakfast was fair to good, same food every am! Fresh fruit 1 day. Young kids screaming and running in the hallway (3rd floor), 12-1am. 2 kids were without their mother, in the hallway, because she went outside to smoke and left her kids. I did report to the front deak. The front desk staff and a housekeeper very helpful and kind. This motel is definitely for younger families with kids and dogs. Won't stay again, sorry.

I would not stay here again or recommend friends or family to stay. Room was dusty with spiderwebs on the outside of window, piece of tissue stuck in the peep hole. Hair in the shower like it was never cleaned and most places give you at least an extra roll or 2 of toilet paper, nope not this place. Also for breakfast, there was only one worker who had to constantly fill the food (was not her fault) but the tables were disgusting and travelers had to clean their own tables. Just overall dissappointed.

Don't let the location fool you!

I expected for a hotel in such a central location to both parks would be pretty good accommodations. Wrong!! Everything was sketchy. The elevators halfway worked. The A/C wasn't on when we arrived in July! The room obviously hadnt been serviced--stain on the sheets, shoe prints all over the bathroom tile, toilet smelled of urine, and the whole floor smelled of mildew. Needless to say, we cancelled the reservation!

Trip to Williamsburg

The hotel is going through renovations but the rooms could still be cleaner. Walking into the room initially, we noticed dirt in the corners and walls as well as large cracks on the tiles in a shower that looked modern. When we asked for replacement towels they told us they ran out. The breakfast was not desirable and the eating area was messy - no one sweeping up or cleaning tables between use and the temperature in the eating area was humid. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and the hotel's proximity to either Busch Gardens or Water Country is about 5 mins away.

This is possibly the worse state had ever had. The hallways smelt so bad the shower door wouldn’t shut the ac unit leaked out and the carpet until it was soaked. We needed to leave a day early and the excuses they gave has to why they couldn’t refund us was utterly ridiculous

Look elsewhere!

Upon arriving, the outside was as pictured. Very clean and nice area. Check in was fast and easy at 3pm. When we left the lobby, there was a definite musty odor. We arrived in our room. The room at first glance appeared nice. Upon further inspection, the mirror was not cleaned, very smudgy. The beside lamp did not work, the phone did not work, the outlet that the tv is plugged into was hanging out of the wall. There were no clothes hangers. Good news though, the refrigerator was super cold and the ac worked. Later in the evening the toilet got clogged around 8pm. I called for maintenance but there apparently was no maintenance worker so I was told to go to the front desk to get a plunger myself. The complimentary breakfast was poor at best. When leaving, check out was easy. The outside trash can on the side of the building was overfilling. Overall, worst experience at a Wyndham I’ve had.

Everything was fine but the WiFi never worked. Also I really didn’t like the way the TV is set up. They use the Amazon fire stick so everything is streamed in. You couldn’t just go to regular channels like you do cable. Very inconvenient. Other than those, the staff is wonderful and the room itself was great. Thanks.
