The stay was adequate. Room smelled faintly of smoke(?). Definitely nothing special, most of the fixtures were dated or needed upgrading. Little dings/dents here and there. Staff was very pleasant. We only stayed one night, so it wasn’t a big deal and I don’t think I’d stay here for a longer stay.

We stayed during the off season and the price was great. We had 2 rooms and both were great. Clean and comfortable! The staff was friendly and gave some great dining suggestions. Breakfast was the typical waffles, eggs, sausage and continental items. Thank you Walter and team for a great stay!

Was skeptical to book at this hotel at first because of previous reviews but I took my chance as some of the recent reviews said good things about the hotel. This is my first time bringing my dog with me on a road trip so I was worried but I have a very pleasant stay. Room is very clean, no bad odor, front desk was very friendly and attentive. Location is nice and quiet and only 7min from Downtown Williamsburg and an hour from Virginia Beach.

I whole heartedly recommend this hotel when staying in Williamsburg. The rates are super reasonable, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean. If you stayed in 2025 (Before December) Please go again as it is under new ownership. We stayed over New Year's Eve so we could go to Busch Gardens to watch the Fireworks. During Check in the staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and newly renovated. The free breakfast had loads of options from scrambled eggs and sausage to waffles. There was cereal and Oatmeal as well. Upon checkout we met the owner and learned he had just acquired this Hotel in December (2025). We praised him on the renovations so far and told him we would be back this summer.
