I love the hotel. At first I walked right by it because it look like a office building not a hotel. but once I got to me room I was pleasantly surprise. Very clean room, comfortable bed and very quite. Just what I needed. Even though the outside surrounding is very rough, I would stay there again. 5 stars!

Buyer beware

The hotel room was basic but clean, however I cannot recommend this hotel to any tourist. The neighborhood did not feel safe. Yes it’s close to a subway stop, but it wasn’t worth giving up safety or the illusion of safety for. If the price is too good to be true, there’s a reason. I only stayed because the front desk is manned 24/7. Both front desk associates were friendly and kind. My issue was with the location of the hotel, not the hotel itself.

This is my hotel of choice whenever i go to new york. Its close to the subway stations and also close to real humanity. It may be in an area that some would say is bad, but the area is the epicenter of new york. I love the hotel and once inside the front door, it is 4 start quality for sure. The guy with the dreads up front was absolutely awesome with hospitality
