The first day when we checked in, gave us a room on the first floor. As soon as we open the the rooms door, we couldn’t help us notice. This smell a few humidity inside the room, the carpet was dirty, the fridge was all the way in the middle of the hallway entering the room, and the furniture that was holding the TV on top was broken with piece missing. We went back to the front desk and they gave us a more decent room on the second floor. The next day we woke up around 7:30 or 8 AM to go downstairs to eat. The dining area was very small and gloomy, very very lighting. There was no eggs left at the time of the morning and only one slice of bread left. There was nobody attending the breakfast area so we went to the front desk and they told them that there was no food left. So after that, they brought some burnt eggs out, but no bread. We went back to the front desk to tell them that the eggs that they brought out were burnt and they told us that unfortunately they had run out of food and they didn’t have anything else to cook for breakfast. It was only 9 AM! We had a few rooms rented because it was a big group and we were there all weekend for an event. Nobody was able to eat breakfast this morning at a hotel. The second day the same scenario repeated.

Although the room was quite comfortable. The location of the hotel and surrounding area was pretty sketchy. People were gathered in the lobby and near the hotel entrance. But the room was quiet and cold, just the way I like it.

First room was propped open and we found dirty towels and clothes in the room, along with water on the ground. Next room didn’t have a smoke alarm and it smelled so bad. Hotel couldn’t print off a decent clear receipt even when I asked for another one to see what they were charging.

We stayed from Monday nite and checked out on Friday, we did not have our trash emptied or clean towels at all! We had to request for this to be done then they just emptied the trash that we had already taken out and picked up the dirty towels. They did not make the beds nor did they even leave a roll of toilet paper. We had to go request that as well. The halls were not vacuumed the whole time we were there. We reserved 2 rooms online for our vacation stay. The reviews were good! I dont know where these people stayed but it wasn’t the same place we did obviously. The desk staff were polite that’s the only good thing I can say. Oh and the tub in the other room was super slow draining and the faucet leaked. Yes we did report it. Definitely won’t stay here again

Disappointing Stay – Not What We Expected from Holiday Inn We were genuinely pleased with the housekeeping staff—both ladies who serviced our room were kind, courteous, and did their jobs with professionalism. Unfortunately, the positives stop there. The room itself was a major disappointment. There was a hole in the floor between the two beds, which, although covered by carpet, posed a serious tripping hazard. Several times we nearly stumbled while walking in that area. Additionally, every surface in the room—the nightstand, desk, and area under the TV—was covered in an extremely sticky residue. Anything we placed on them would come away tacky, which made us question the cleanliness of the space overall. The breakfast provided was mediocre at best. The elevator was out of service for two of the three days we were there, which was very inconvenient. Even more concerning was the condition of the public men’s restroom on the first floor. It was non-functional for much of our stay—one stall was completely unusable due to being filled with waste, and the lights did not work at times. The condition was more in line with what one might expect at an abandoned gas station, not a major hotel chain. We chose this Holiday Inn because of its reputable brand, expecting a standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and comfort. Sadly, our experience fell far below those expectations. We hope management will take these issues seriously and make the necessary improvements.

I booked this property because it had an indoor pool. The only reason. Got to hotel just to find out the pool is unheated. So its unusable because its too cold. The front desk staff was wonderful but let people know that the pool is unheated.
