Nothing was unique about the property. I didn’t like that they told me that I had a room with a balcony and when I get to the room there was no balcony. So I went to ask the receptionist and he said no where available. If I would have known that before I booked my hotel I would have never went there

I didn’t like that while I booked a room that sleeps 6 at the rate for SIX... I was told I could only have 2 wristbands and additional wristbands were $40... even for people who were not intending to sleep in the room. Orbitz Customer Service attempted to contact the hotel but they didn’t answer the phone.

Nice mural in main area. The hotel offered a happy hour snack. The front desk was so friendly and super helpful.

This property is not like other Embassy Suites. The room we were in was small and out dated

Parking was ridiculously expense plus the parking attendants were unorganized i had to wait several times 10 minutes or more just for them to find my keys, than another 10 minutes to get my car. The hotel staff as a whole were rude often making you feel that they were talking down to you Reception nights were horrible the worst snack and drink selection I has seen at embassy suites in the 10 years I have been staying at the chain. Receptionist not welcoming at all Concierge desk unhelpfully didn't know anything about the city Pool looked as small as a bath tub The good thing i can say is the Breakfast food and staff were awesome. I wish all the staff was as warm and welcoming as they were.

Property is rundown hallway light in the room did not work.tub in the bathroom looked very old. I was not happy at all with the stay at embassy suites

What I really liked for the property was that is was very close to everything. We stayed because it was close to the port for a cruise we did. It was in walking distance to the riverwalk area and about a 20 min walk to the french quarter area. They also provided a great breakfast, which is a greeat way to start your morning. They were also great with holding our luggage before our room was ready and after we chaecked out. They were slow to answer the phones when called and the elevators were dirty. A couple things that they can improve on for sure.

Playing music over the building audio kept me up 2 of the 4 nights of my stay. 1st night I asked the front desk to turn it down, and they complied. I only lost 1 hour of sleep. On the 2nd night, my last night. I didn't ask to have it turned down. Woke up at 2am, and didn't sleep again when I needed to leave for my flight at 5:00am. Happy hour and breakfast were great!

hotel smelled like smoke, no hot water for showering

Perfect for a big family to share spaces with and the breakfast buffet was a plus!

Lovely lobby. Good location for our needs. Parking additonal $50. The room itself was a bit musty, and the meandering hallways and painted cinderblock walls and columns detract. Pool a bit tiny.
