The tub was clogged. Got a shower and the water was still in the tub the next day. Toilet handle was broken. Had to open the back multiple times to make it work. It was fairly clean though. And the location is good.

Thank you so much for having us! This property was beautiful and it was priced perfectly! Taylor, the front desk attendant was amazing! She was not only very accommodating but also kind, professional and patient (esp with my husband who moves slow as molasses). Thank you for your care! Other than that Blake hotel is beautifully decorated, rooms are pristine and very comfortable. The hotel is perfectly placed just outside the French Quarter, within walking distance of Canal Street. The area looks very clean and is very safe! There would definitely stay here again! Worth every penny!

I’ve stayed at his hotel often and usually the staff is very nice and helpful but there is one women there(night shift) who is super rude and unfriendly. Rude for no reason when asking a question. Hotel needs a major upgrade. The bathrooms are not the greatest. I had no hot water, had to always go down to get towels, as the housekeeper would only leave one. The outlet covers were falling off. Microwave was all wonky and unstable. The bedside lamp didn’t work. The bed was comfortable and the front desk staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful (the graveyard lady was the best) The windows need all the film cleared up as you can’t see out them clearly. One of our room (2 queen beds) was barely larger than a closet with no outside light at all. I’ve stayed here twice but will most likely find another place that is more updated. The Blake is conveniently located to everything though. The price you pay is not worth what they charge as it reminds me of a highway budget motel.
