Had to book a last minute trip and didn’t do much research on this place. It’s not a flea bag or anything but definitely not the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed. The hot water also did not work in my room, maintenance came and fixed it the first night but it was out again the next. Pretty meh all around.

Impulsive trip to Essence Fest so many places were booked. I picked this place due to the location (walkable to convention center and the Superdome). You can catch the trolley to Bourban Street. It also had a microwave and fridge. Room was ok. Could have been cleaner. Things are dated. Edges are rough. There was rust on the door lock and the key didn’t work right away. It just feels old and worn. But the bes was comfy and sheets were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. They were very, very nice. There is a brunch downstairs. I didn’t try it. Overall the trip sucked cuz the airline lost my bag but this is a decent location. Kinda far from the action but still in the mix.

The room we had closed off from any view. So suffocated it feels like prison room. Tv was took a lot trying to make it work. All and all we had a terrible experience. We will never go back to that hotel.

Photos can be misleading. The property is old and beat up. Multiple leaks in the bathroom . The outdated swipe keycard system never works . I went to the front desk for my keycard over 10 times during my 4 day stay

The property lobby smelled like sewer water, I had to get moved to a different room because my original room was dirty, the tub wasn’t clean, the water in the sink wasn’t draining, and the appliances in the room were broken. When I got moved to the second room is was not better.
