Uptown New Orleans has a rhythm all its own - second-line parades drifting through the neighborhood, the clang of the St. Charles streetcar, and the kind of front-porch culture that makes evenings feel like events. This three-bedroom home puts you right in the middle of it, just steps from Magazine Street's coffee shops and boutiques and within easy walking distance of parade routes that run straight past your door.

The space
Tall ceilings draw your eye upward the moment you step inside, framing original millwork and hardwood floors that carry the quiet confidence of a well-kept historic home. Natural light moves through the rooms throughout the day, and the layout flows easily between the living areas - comfortable, unfussy, and full of character that no renovation could manufacture.

Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms accommodate up to six guests, arranged to give families and groups both togetherness and privacy. Ceiling fans, ample clothing storage with hangers, and crisp bed linens keep every room comfortable. An iron and drying rack are on hand for longer stays.

Kitchen & dining
The renovated kitchen is built for real use - quartz countertops, a full suite of stainless steel appliances including a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, and dishwasher, plus a hot water kettle, coffee maker, blender, toaster, baking sheet, and wine glasses. Cooking basics, dishes, and silverware are all stocked and ready. Pull up a chair at the dining table for meals in, or use it as a planning base before heading out to explore.

Bathrooms
Two full bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and hair dryers, along with hot water and cleaning products. A bathtub is available for longer soaks after a full day on your feet.

Outdoor living
The front porch is a natural gathering spot - morning coffee, evening wind-downs, or simply watching the neighborhood go by. Out back, a fenced backyard with outdoor furniture gives the group a quiet place to decompress. Gated off-street parking on the premises means one less thing to think about in a city where parking is rarely a given.

Location
St. Charles Avenue and the streetcar line are steps away, connecting you to the French Quarter, the Garden District, and beyond without needing a car. Magazine Street runs parallel and is walkable from the front door - lined with independent cafés, restaurants, and shops that stretch for miles. Mardi Gras parade routes pass directly through the neighborhood, making this an ideal base for festival season or any time of year.

Additional amenities
The home includes air conditioning, heating, ceiling fans throughout, washer and dryer, high chair, fast WiFi, Ethernet connection, TV, and smart-lock self check-in with a private entrance. Essentials - towels, bed sheets, soap, and toilet paper - are provided, along with a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit. Long-term stays are welcome.

Please note: No parties, no unregistered guests, and no smoking. Any attempt to host a party of any kind will result in immediate termination of the stay with no refund.

Great location ! Off street parking was a huge plus ! Loved the French bakery on Magazine and the small grocery store on Prytania. Easy to grab food to set up in the house as well as walk to a great place for iced coffee/quiche/pastries. Host was easy to reach with questions.

I helped my 80-year-old mother-in-law rent this property for a girlfriend getaway—the first girls' trip she had taken in a long time. The property manager was terrific, ensuring the ladies could enter the house. He even offered to meet them there, which is next-level service. My MIL said the stairs to the entrance were a little tricky for her balance, but she loved the inside of the property and the location. I would highly recommend based on the communication with the property manager and my MIL's feedback.

This was supposed to be a fun weekend meeting a friend who I hadn’t seen in 35 years. It was a very cold weekend in New Orleans, and we arrived in the afternoon and went out to explore the city. We spent the entire afternoon and evening enjoying the sites and returned and found that there was no heat in the house. Instead of being able to spend time together, we ended up huddled in our rooms, trying to stay warm. The management company remotely “reset” the thermostat but it did not fix the problem. We also found that there was no water pressure in one of the bathrooms, making showering impossible. We found three small space heaters in the home so ended up in each of the bedrooms trying to stay warm all night. The next morning was absolutely miserable as the house was freezing, and six people had to share one bathroom. They had promised to send a technician to fix the heat, but did not fix the heat. Later that afternoon they sent an offer to have us moved to a different home, but we were already out and rather than waste of the time having to go back, repack, and find a new home, we declined the offer. They did not fix the heat and have offered little in terms of any service recovery. They did not fix the water pressure in the bathroom. This was supposed to have been a fun weekend, but turned into a nightmare; we paid a significant amount for two nights in an unlivable, terrible environment. Absolutely will not rent this property or rent from this company in the future.
56 degrees inside the home.
