Very pleased with Fairfield Inn. We were most impressed with Natasha at the Front Desk as well as other front desk and dining/breakfast staff members. The female employee working the breakfast area was exceptional. It snowed 4" when we left in the morning. The parking lot and walkway was clean of snow.

Very nice stay here. Clean room, breakfast in the am. Only thing is that the cleaning staff & other workers (not the front desk) would just stare with not nice looks. SMILE!!

Great value and hotel staff was very accommodating and a nice!

Nice stay. Quite basic breakfast. Will stay again.

Convienent location. Within short drive of restaurants, shopping and theaters. Fast check-in. Adequate breakfast. Staff member cleaned tables and restocked supplies. Nothing special but nothing to complain about!

The staff, front desk, housekeeping, breakfast crew, couldn't have been any nicer or helpful. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and feel welcome. We stayed 10 nights and couldn't have made a better choice for a hotel. The hotel is about 5 blocks from Interstate 91 and approximately 1- 2 miles from all kinds of restaurants and shopping.

The complementary breakfast was great. The staff was friendly and competent. Best cup of tea I have ever had at a hotel.

the hotel was really a peaceful place to stay in

Stayed at this hotel to attend a family celebration at Meriden. The room and hallways were clean and spotless. The staff was attentive. The parking lot is busy and people don't look as they are moving in /out of the cars-do drive carefully. At the breakfast room they have two do-it-yourself waffle stations, muffins, bread, milk, cereals, but they don't have scramble eggs. They have a mini fridge in which there is some quiche and frozen English muffins with bacon, cheese and egg. You have to use the microwave to cook them.

We checked in at 5 P.M., 2 hours after the stated check-in time. The room was not ready: beds un made, bathroom not cleaned, nothing cleaned since the last occupant. They made up the room at 5:15 and were not finished until 6 P.M. We had to leave. We were expecting a microwave oven and a refrigerator that [...] wrote on the confirmation, we had neither. Also, the TV didn't have a DVD player and was completely outdated.

All went well as planned.

Newly renovated, extremely clean rooms, superbly comfortable beds, and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff made this the perfect place to stay while visiting our child at Yale for parents' weekend. Close but not too close to Yale and also to Sleeping Giant State Park for a day of family hiking.

Stayed overnight while attending a friend's wedding. The decor was outdated (i.e., the '70's called and they want their furniture and carpeting back), but the room was very clean, the hotel was quiet, and the pillowtop mattress bed was very comfortable. Decent breakfast. Nearest restaurant was about 3 miles away.

A bit out of the way, but the room was great, bed was very firm and comfortable, shower a pleasure - and all very clean. The carpet felt a bit lumpy as a result of cheap padding that, in time, bunches up. The breakfast was superb. The only negative - their heating/air condtioning tends to cycle quite loudly (rush of air). It didn't bother me, but my girlfriend slept poorly as a result. TV was only so-so in quality of reception, but hey, that's not a biggie.
