My family stayed here for a family weekend to float the river and we had a fantastic time. Although the house is small, it was very comfortable for a family of four and was a perfect accommodation for our trip. It is directly across the street from Schlitterbahn and can walk to the entrance from this house. Owner was very accommodating and offered great communication. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to come float the river.

Perfect Location

Very clean and well-kept little house! This house is directly across the street from Schlitterbahn, super easy access. Also a short walk to the city chute on the Comal and a few blocks away from the last public exit. Great spot to stay in walking distance for activities and places to eat.

Great location, clean

We stayed at the Opa Seidel house in June for two days as part of a family vacation to Schlitterbahn. It was very convenient being across the street from the East entrance. The house had all the essentials including a washer/dryer on site, which was critical with the river water stink. The beds were comfortable and we used the pull out couch too. House was clean and tidy. The carport was also nice for loading/unloading. Would definitely stay again!

Great River Trip

Clean house, easy check-in/check-out process. Plenty of room to enjoy outdoor games, nice living space, and comfortable furniture. Super easy to get to the river and <5 minute walk from Comal river exits, if you are going to float! Location is prime, directly across from Schlitterbahn and again SO close to river exits.

Weekend getaway

We had a great experience at the Opa cottage, I was super impressed with the cleanliness! The cottage was small but perfect for our smaller group the house was packed with everything you may need. The location was prime for our day trip at Schlitterbahn. One thing I would note is that it’s shared parking you only have two spaces which wasn’t a problem since we only had two cars this trip. We will definitely return and are excited to see about renting both properties for our next family trip.

We had a great stay here for a two night trip. The property was located just across the street from Schlitterbahn and was perfect for us. It was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

German getaway

We had a great weekend stay in New Braunfels for Wurstfest. The house was quaint and walking distance to many shops and restaurants in the area. There was a little difficulty in getting the door unlocked initially, however the issue was resolved and the rental manager was responsive in communications.

Great little cottage - great location

Very cute and clean property

The owner was very welcoming and was always available with any questions. We were worried at first with Schlitterbahn being across the street, but ended up being good people watching :), and we did not have noise from the water park either. Great spot!

Beautiful little cottage, immaculately clean and literally steps away from Schlitterbahn Resort and other fine dining and activity choices. Given the location, it was quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. Loved the stay and will visit again soon.
