Hotel was very clean, staff friendly. Also, had a free wine tasting in courtyard got to relax meet other guest. Overall a positive experience.
This isn't the nicest hotel but it definitely served its purpose during my time in Napa. The room and building was dated and the pool was a bit small. What really set itself apart from many different hotels that I have stayed at was the people! Each person that I dealt with at the front counter went above and beyond for the different needs that came up while we were there. I would definitely go back.
Was glad to have readily available parking and free wi-fi. The rooms are nothing special, but if you just need a place to sleep and shower, it works. The floors/walls are a bit thin so it's very easy to hear other guests walking around and talking. The lobby has been updated but the room we stayed in was not updated so it does look a little outdated. The room was also quite dim, but you can pull open the window curtains. Since it's a garden style property, though, you'll sacrifice any privacy for natural light.
We were very happy with the room. Nicole and Tom were very friendly and helpful. We think this best western was a great value. Large room was very clean and comfortable. Close to the Napa valley wine train. It was very quiet which we always find important.
Very convenient. Liquor store and snacks next door to the north and on the same side of street. Home Depot, Groceries etc. across the road. Oxbow 1.5 miles up the road.
My fiancé and I booked at the Best Western Plus Inn at the Vine based on prior reviews for my birthday weekend. Upon arriving and checking in, we were greeted with a help front desk attendant that gave us information as to what the area has to offer during our stay. Upon night fall and in the midst of our sleep we were awoken to unruly neighboring guest that continued to party. After an hour my fiancé went to the front desk to complain and nothing changed. The noisiness continued and my fiancé went again to notify the front desk. One of the staff came and spoke to our neighbors, but still nothing changed and we eventually began to smell cigarette smoke through the shared door between us and our neighbors. Upon being awake most of the night we both went in-person to the front office where we spoke with a new person and the manager on duty. He was nice and understanding and informed us that our neighbors were leaving that day. With being up all night and not knowing whether the next guest would be unruly as our current guest, we checked out early and ended our weekend. Though the front desk manager the day of was professional, we were disappointed with the night staff and since our return home and email to Best Western, we have yet to receive an acknowledgement/response from customer service.
This was a great place to stay for our visit to Napa Valley. Convenient to restaurants, shopping and things to do. We did the Wine Train Quatteo Tour. Highly recommend that as well.
Was given a handicap room I had no bathtub or enclosed shower. Plus room was part of a adjoining suite therefore the people in the next room could be heard like they were in the same room.
I really appreciated the attention the staff paid to my floor and room request. They want you to enjoy your stay. I planned evenings working, but I found myself at the pool and spa visiting with other guest. The friendly vibe continued to the people who stayed at the Inn at the Vines. It's a quick drive into town for the Oxbow Public Market or the excellent variety of restaurants and wine rooms.
Great location and the staff was courteous and professional overall
We have stayed at this hotel 3 times now while visiting family in Napa and found a consistent, comfortable experience.
The hotel was perfect for what my I needed. Breakfast served daily. Room was clean and a good size for 2 adults. Jacuzzi and heated pool. Target directly across the street from the hotel. Free parking.
Good Location. Room was ok but area was pretty loud. Close to dowtown NAPA an advantage
This hotel was the perfect stay for a couple on a budget. Great service, ideal location and modern, clean accommodations. I would definitely visit again!
Hotel was nice enough. Especially after a day of drinking. Beds were tiny, and not as comfy as I would have preferred, but the hotel served its purpose. It is in a great location, a mile away from downtown Napa, with lots of food/store options in the surrounding area. It is about 27 minutes from Yountville where we wine tasted, so it all worked out. Good price for location.
I enjoyed my stay. clean room with friendly staff. I was a little upset that my room was not ready with a no compensation or apologies.
Great place to stay...very close to downtown Napa and to many wineries.
If you're not concerned about your place to put your head, this place is just fine. It's not a 5 star hotel with people waiting on you hand and foot but it's your standard hotel with a working bath, sink, and comfy beds. The TV worked fine and I really didn't stay in the room long. I mean, what are you doing in your room!?? Location is very close to the main downtown Napa which was a short cab ride away.
I had a downstairs room, it has a window AC unit that is quite noisy.
I proposed to my girlfriend this past Labor Day Weekend 2014 in Napa, CA. Due to the busy travel season of this period, hotel availability became an issue even 30 days out. However, I did not encounter this issue with the Holiday Day Inn Plus at the Vines. The price was also very affordable! Upon entering the room, my fiancée and I were very impressed! Well decorated, spacious, clean, and quiet- I could not have asked for a better experience. I will definitely come back to this hotel!
