The property was gorgeous. The room and spa was better than expected. Waking up every morning with views overlooking the vineyard was the perfect way to start the day. The only downside was that it was in south Napa and around a 30 min drive to the main wineries that we were going to in St Helena. But all the hotels are going to be a drive. This is the only hotel we want to stay at when going to Napa.

Meritage is amazing, with multiple wineries onsite you don't have to go far to get a tasting. The staff is super friendly and the service is top notch. I highly recommend this resort for anyone who wants a true Napa getaway experience.

My husband and I came here for Valentines weekend and absolutely loved it. The entire property and its amenities are absolutely gorgeous and impeccable! The staff is generally nice, but the restaurant hostess was very rude. She kept a long line of guests waiting for over 15 minutes without looking at us nor saying a word to anyone (at the host stand) for brunch Saturday morning. She displayed her stress and looked overwhelmed but still, you should always keep it professional! I do think the resort should have hired more staff this particular weekend to help and accommodate all guests. I’d say more of the younger staff were not as friendly nor patient, but that’s just that generation really. The food was OK, but tiny portions and super overpriced. Other than that, the resort had great Valentine’s Day related activities and entertainment throughout the entire weekend for all their guests. It was very impressive! Thank you for going all out especially during these difficult and daunting times.

Stayed here for one night on 2/14/21-2/15/21. When I arrived after 4pm for check-in, the line was a 2 hour wait then you had to wait additional time for your key. When calling for towels and bath amenities, either there was no answer or after several tries, the request was not fulfilled. Check-out was delays and overall logistics was poor (i.e. why did the employees in the back doing concierge step in to assist with check ins?). Overall bad experience on Valentine's Day due to poor planning on the hotel management side.

I felt at home while in this exquisite resort. The staff was friendly and social. The other guests were also friendly and many had little cute dogs with them. This made me feel so comfortable since I travel with my companion dog. I only stayed food one night but would love to stay longer. I can’t wait to come back.

People around the pool were playing loud music and smoking cigarettes. Employees walking by just ignored that. When I went to complain they said they will take care of it but didn't send anyone to the pool. I went several more times to the front desk but eventually realized there was no one to talk to and just had to leave the pool area.

The view from the vineyard gazebo is amazing. Lots of onsite amenities. Could have been a little cleaner outside in sitting areas.

We brought our 3mon old puppy, the entire community was pleasant towards fur baby's.
