Radisson Denarau has a small beach, which is under water in the afternoon, so this is mostly for a pool only holiday. Also, the ocean is muddy and not clean, not proper for a bath. So if you like to lay on the beach, this is not the place for you. There are so many kids and I loved the fact that they have an adults only pool, which was quiet. Also the pool water is warmish, which is really good. Some of the staff are amazing, friendly and smiling, ready to help. There were some problems with our stay that left me a very bad experience and I wouldn't recommend this hotel further to any guests. First one was about airport transfer - I send some emails to help me with that, and they responded blunt: you can do it by yourself from pacific destinations. Then I ask for earlier checkin - at 12:30 instead of 15:00, considering that we come from Europe and we stay only 3 nights. Obviously, we didn't get any room until 15:10. Of course, this is never guaranteed, but for a 5* hotel, you expect them to at least try. The worst experience was on checkout. The airport taxi was waiting for us and I was trying to settle the bill, you know, usually you have 5 min max. Then I observe a lot of extras on my bill, two more breakfasts, minibar, etc. Plus Orbitz VIP offers 20% discount for F&B, they apply the discount only for 4-5 items from the whole bill. Is the first time ever when a hotel try to "alterate" the invoice. Because of the rush, I still have a lot of extra charges and no 20%.

When we first got to the room the television did not work. It took them two days to fix it. This is a family hotel. There are lots of children and I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a quite vacation, planning to get married or on your honeymoon. The hotel taxi to the airport is $45FJD. If you call the regular taxi company the ride to the airport is only $30.00FJD. They discourage you from using anything but their own taxi. We were in Fiji for three weeks and stayed in four different hotels. The hotel staff here where not as friendly as the other three hotels where we stayed.

The was the perfect place to travel with 3 small kids. Staff is great with children and very welcoming. They’re excellent and really make the environment perfect

1st night there, no coffee or tea service in room. Entry doors slam shut and very loud. You can hear people above you drag chairs across the tile floors. Mold in the bathrooms. Food VERY expensive. Nice amenities and that is about it.....

Hotel itself starting to look a little tired. Furniture starting to look its age but otherwise a great place

We arrive in an early flight and they set the room almost immediately. The staff is extremely nice and dedicated, very friendly and polite. The room was big and very clean, having every day a fresh flower as compliment. I definitely recommend this hotel, I'm looking forward to come back.

The rooms were a bit outdated but were fine. Staff was all very friendly. This resort is VERY family oriented. Not good for young couples at all as there are children everywhere.

I had an absolutely wonderful time. Location, food, quiet (segregation of the pools). Really fine!

This resort in the Fiji Island is just beautiful. The room was exceptional, very large suite with kitchen. The resort is right on the beach. The staff couldn't do enough for the guests. They went beyond normal to make your stay one to remember.

Great hotel. Very friendly staff. Beautiful pools. Beautiful ocean scenery.

We were looking for a resort that was good value for one night as we transitioned from the Yasawa Islands to the airport. Blu was great, very clean rooms, good amenities and great pools for our little girl.

Stayed June 17-23, 2014. My wife, daughter and I stayed in the one bedroom suite. It had a kitchen with fridge, dishwasher and stovetop. While we didn't do any cooking it is stocked with various pots and pans. The room was modern and the furniture was in good condition. The hotel is on Denaru near other resorts. It is a good location with easy access to the port or Nadi town by bus or taxi. It is a very family friendly resort. The large lagoon style pool has a water slide and shallow beach like access for the little ones to wade into the water. There is also a secluded adults only pool which was nice. I would say that those looking for a more adult vibe be wary. There are a lot of families. For us traveling with our child it was great as she had the opportunity to make friends. The onsite kids club was great. The staff was very nice and they had activities scheduled throughout the day to keep the kids busy. We would return and heartily recommend the Radisson Blu.

This is a very family oriented Resort. It was my first time to Denarau and I was impressed. There were various means of transportation available, which made it possible not just to rely on money-making-taxis.

The Radisson Hotel in Fiji really is wonderful. The pool area is amazing, the view over the ocean is stunning, the food was just great. I really enjoyed my stay and would stay there again.

This hotel was perfect for a family with children. Other hotels in Fiji were better for adults, but the pools and slide were wonderful for kids. It was just a short walk or ride to other hotels nearby. Keep in mind, you have to take a boat to the nice sandy white beaches, so the pool is very important if you are not planning a boat trip.

The resort was truly beautiful. Very modern-spacious rooms. Staff friendly and helpful. Fantastic views. The hotel offered reasonably priced food options especially compared to other surrounding resorts. Plenty of activitie for children. We would have liked some for adults although the next resort activities were available to us. Definitely would recommend.

The hotel had friendly staff that tried their best to make our stay relaxing and fun. It is a beautiful resort and had many locations to sit and lay down and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. The only disappointing thing was the food for dinner. They offer a buffet style for dinner but the selections could have been better.

Great hotel with great Fijian hospitality. I was a little disappointed with Denarau Island's beaches and brown, murky ocean waters. However the wonderful pool made up for that.

Dear Dan, Many thanks for taking out your time in writing back to us regarding your recent stay. I am very concerned with firstly your TV did not work and without a room move to one that did, does not reflect our Radisson Culture of anything is possible, unless this was a Service Provider Issue ,I would be very Surprise. I am very sorry that you found our friendly team to be not as friendly as the other 3 resorts that you visited and be assured that I have discussed your sharing and we did not mean to offend or disrespect you in anyway. Kindly be advised that only the Denarau Taxis are licensed to operate from Denarau Island with confirmation of being insured and in good working order. The hotel does not take liability for any local taxi booked and does not show up for many reasons. Please be assured that the team will be re-trained in communicating accordingly to avoid any mis-understanding. Vinaka,
