Great vibes at this hostel! I stayed for one week - Karli, Philip, Jone and the rest of the Bamboo crew were excellent at providing quality service and helped me feel right at home. The 6 girl dorm was cleaned frequently, although it was small I didn’t mind because the place was always a happy place to be. Highly recommend to backpackers especially solo travellers.
Bamboo is such an incredible spot to be if you are a solo traveller. You meet people easily and have the kava circle in the evening which introduces you to the warmth and happiness of fiji. Big shout out to Meki, Kali, Jesse, Mele, Philipp Wayne,Danny and all the other staff which made my stay very special and very welcoming. You rock this place. All the best and vinaa vaa levu for everything. Carola from Austria
Had a really good stay at bamboo. Good value for the price. Well organized and well run place. Nothing fancy but no complaints. All the staff were great. Especially Rosa at the cafe was extra friendly and helpful. Kava and singing circle is really fun and a good icebreaker. Beware that the same business manage accommodations across multiple buildings but they are all nearby. Might be a bit confusing when you first arrive.
We stayed at bamboo for a week and a bit and we loved it so much. The daily volleyball games and kava sessions are so much fun and a great way to meet new people as well as the staff there. Dells (Danny) and the other guys were amazing, making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves and would always say hi and chat when we saw each other. Even when we moved hostels we found ourselves going back to bamboo every night. Cannot recommend this place enough, a must stay for anyone who wants to have fun and meet new people.
Best place to just relax after a hard day travelling with good food, drinks and friendly service Fiji style...….u get to feel more grounded and in touch with nature by walking on the beach and swimming in the ocean...…..Rosa the Head chef also went out of her way to ensure we were well looked after and the food she prepared for breakfast and dinner was awesome and well priced...….
The best girls trip with this awesome Tucasa tourguide.. love the company.. look for her if you want to have the best fun day out in Fiji 😘.. I came here with no plan and met Tucasa at Nandi airport. She helped me to sort out my accomodation at Bamboo and plan my holidays in Fiji. Could not ask for a better tourguide.
Amazing stay at bamboo! Got picked up at the airport with a very warm welcome, had kava there almost every night. And did a tour with Tokasa. She’s just wonderful with big smile and fun personality! Had so much fun there absolutely loved it
Bamboo backpacker, good food, great prices, (vegetarian thalli for 13FjD, belt sandwich and fries 12FjD), huge fry up breakfast 19FjD and good tea. well stocked bar and bottles of Chardonnay for 27FjD. Great company, meeting new and interesting people every night, went here every night of our 3 day stay
I stayed here originally planned for 3 nights, but actually extended my stay for 10 nights. By far the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at, no problems at all! Everyone is so friendly, food is great, atmosphere is phenomenal and the rooms are cool! Meki, Kali & Danny are the best. Couldn’t praise them enough, they’re an asset to the hostel and make life fun and free :). 10/10 for everything. BULA EVERYONE
Bamboo was the best backpackers. It was so good we stayed there for the full 10 days of our Holiday! The food was great, especially the pizzas and the staff were the best people! Kali one of the great guys accompanied us to Natadola beach, showed us the best snorkelling spots and jammed on his guitar. Also shoutout to Dells! Always joking around and having a good time. He always looked out for us and made sure we were enjoying our time! Definitely coming back to Bamboo soon!
