Hospitality was top notch.. the service team went the extra mile to help get us a courtesy room to use and also to store our luggage since we had late evening flights!
This property is truly unique. It is located on a small island about an hours ferry ride from Port Denaru, Fiji. The resort has no docking facility that reaches beyond the reef which requires you and your luggage to be transferred to smaller vessels for an amphibious landing for all. Just like you have seen on WWII movies the front of the small craft opens and you ramp down onto the beach. Mean while your luggage is transported via skiff and magically shows up at the your check in. You are greeted on the beach by guitar playing and drumming and you clean the sand off your feet in wash pool on the stairs. This brings you to the champagne welcome and check-in. All is open air and you sip away your cares waiting for your turn to check-in. Our room was a beach front bungalow with a plunge pool, king bed, and a large bathroom with glass walk-in shower. The shower has a floor to ceiling window that opens to a small garden space. Just like being outside! We opted for the package for beach equipment that include unlimited snorkeling gear, kayak, and even sail boat use for all in the room. A good deal as we snorkeled two times everyday. Also, when available was a ride out to the reef wall via jet ski. The fish and reef were gorgeous, colors and variety of fish were hard to believe. What really makes this a five star experience is the people. Friendly, so friendly and accommodating. Kudos to Sai, Api, Vili, Lesu and Josh and his wife(who saved my credit card).
The property is beautiful with stunning views. The breakfast at the Feast restaurant was AMAZING. So many different items to choose from including a fresh juice bar, a dosa station, an omelet station and so much more. Aqua aerobics at the pool was fun and a good workout.
Very bad experience at check in. We were early at check in. We were told to leave a phone number and would be contacted when room was ready. After 9 hours (4 pm) never received a call. Had to go back to check in to get a room 1 hour later.
Everything was smooth and nicer around. Well maintained surroundings ran down but atill very much ok to stay in for 7 nights. Breakfast is so so, internet is horrible-very horrible. Overall I'm happy with this stay.

The absolute longest check in process I had to endure. Rooms weren’t ready and because I ordered 2 rooms and wanted to be close to each other they had to shuffle rooms around. It took forever for them to figure this out. Same thing for check out. Not a lot of staff available to check us out and had to wait a while to check out. Porters were very helpful and concierge was helpful in setting up transfers.
Is you won’t let me write a short and sweet review I will write a long statement about nothing. Fix this. I should be able to write a simple review like. I wish there was a slide at pool and fun stuff for kids
Had a wonderful holiday staying at the Sheraton Fiji Resort. It was the nicest of all the hotels along the beach. The staff were helpful too. The breakfast buffet is the best we've ever had, with the biggest selection which covers everything. The only negative would be the cost of the food and drinks. We met many people, like ourselves, who were staying at the Sheraton but going elsewhere for food and drinks. If they want guests to spend time at their hotel and enjoy all their facilities, it would be of benefit to lower the prices to a decent affordable rate. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and would also stay there again, but would eat and drink elsewhere.
