Overall an awful experience. I couldn't wait to leave the property every day and dreaded returning to it. Rude staff, horribly slow front desk w/computers that kept freezing, no eye contact and their answer for everything was "I'll let a manager know". To list: -CONSTRUCTION, loud sawing during our whole stay, concrete dust flying around ALL pool areas. -Our room reeked like weed and we were never offered a room change. -Hair & pubes on the mattress pad and the housekeepers that came to change it were very rude. Ended up in the elevator with one of the two and she was swearing & grumbling under her breath. -Lazy river that the reservation person raved about for 20min. was under construction along with one of the pools. -Linoleum floor trim peeling from wall in bathroom. -Slide lifeguards were talking to each other and on their phones, not telling people how they should lay or when to go. -I hit my head VERY hard on the slide and wanted to fill out an incident report. Took three days to get someone to do one and was then told, by Brett, that I was making it up b/c "I was disoriented" from the slide and that if I was "really hurt bad" I would've told them right away.

I think my review doesn't say it all. I'd refer a friend after sharing some insight. Overall it will get a 3, but that's based only a few criteria. The water slides and play area are a great feature, but when it's freezing outside and the entrances to the slides and pool are all outside this makes it very frustrating. Walking in all outside breezeways to get from the rooms to the water features is not ideal. Luckily the water was super warm, but that only lasts while you're in it. The pull-out couch was springy and not comfortable. The kitchenette was updated and very useful in such a small space. The newly updated flooring was nice.

We were very disappointed that the lazy river was closed due to repairs. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We visited during nonpeak season. Sevral of the amenities were closed and not up to par but that was to be expected. Rooms were nice. Floors could have been a little cleaner/mopped. The room was a decent price considering all it had.

Had fun my kids loved the water park. I will rent it again . The food was good too. The staff was very friendly and check in was fast. Great place to take your kids they will love it ...

short stay but pleasent stay great access to beach and loved the lazy river, and hot tubs

I would not recommend this place to anyone. The only thing good was it was directly on the beach. staff was ok. we had a room in tower 2, directly over the bar and pool area. When we got there super loud music, had to close the balcony door until after 10 pm. second day and third there was live music, but not good music, also loud, kept door closed to be able to get some sleep. can't hear the ocean when you have to keep door to ocean front closed. needed to keep your shoes on in the room, otherwise your feet got all black from the dirt. I also got bitten by bedbugs, first I thought it was mosquitoes, but bedbugs. Have to buy new clothes, never ever going to stay there again.

Had a great time with the kids the pools and water slides and best of all the ocean.

Although there was a great ocean view we were unable to enjoy it due to an inundation of pigeons. At least10 pigeons flew on our balcony daily and deposited poop on everything out there. You couldn't scare them off. Staff came every morning to clean it to no avail. Just looked nasty. Check in took almost an hour. Parking was great.

Staff nice, rooms where small, bad location. Will not go back.

Wonderful hotel with nice gym. Definitely will stay here every time I visit Myrtle Beach.

the only complaint I have is the woman who was doing the braids by the pool ripped me off for $180.00. she led me to believe the the braids were going to be $4 for each person. then when she done she told me that will be $180. I about had a cow . she said $4 for each braid. that was money I didn't have on me but I had to get . I was so upset.

For three days stay was good enough in that place. Elevator did not work as it suppose to be, i got stung from wasp while in that lazy river, experienced three hours of no power, and finally we went to the conference center coz we want to do parasailing, thursday morning, afternoon and evening we went there and they told us, to wait for that andrew, finally came back friday morning and this one lady helped me and just ask me for the payment and thats it. IN that ticket there was a number about calling reservation which we didn't know or not even that crown reef lady told us. The downwind sails lady told us well they should have made the reservation for you guys and i said, well obviously they're not doing there job. They just want to get paid. The people at LOCO GECKO restaurant ARE SUPER nice. the place itself is great its just need renovation and proper trained crews

Upon arriving at the hotel we realized you have to check in across the street. Once we parked there were no signs directing you to the front desk. We saw elevator signs. After walking around we finally asked someone where to register. Ber were pointed to the door, but again there was nothing saying to register at that door. The housekeeping staff was very helpful when trying to locate carts when checking in and out. For a hotel this size there weren't that many carts... Even the staff said the same thing. Beds were very comfortable! Overall a nice experiebce.

I've stayed here when I was younger probably 15 years ago and we were looking for a one night stay because we arrived a day early and was staying at our time share. I remembered the hotel so I figured it's clean and everything will stay, there were bugs in our room I was grossed out used my own pillow and blanket. The staff was great other than that I will not be back.

Upon checking in we went swimming. When we shut the bathroom door in the room it locked. We had to call maintenance. He said there was something wrong with the lock. Took an hour. There was blood splattered on the wall by bed and the headboard. Housekeeping came and cleaned it. Also could not find remote..has to call and ask for one. Ridiculous!!!

Very spacious hotels and very clean. There was plenty of parking and service was great. Very friendly staff, i would recommend to anyone. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and pools were well maintained as well. I will look forward to staying there in the near future.

My family I were down recently for a weekend of baseball...... We had a great time hanging at the pool and eating at the hotel. It was nice to be able to stay and hang there without ever leaving. Definitely will go back!

I loved everything about it.this is my hotel for now on out.saving up for next year already.

My college friends and I took a last minute, girls trip to myrtle beach. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Although, the rooms were a bit outdated we still enjoyed the experience for what it was and we were comfortable. The three of of us each had our own beds. The suite was spacious and had a good view of the beach. We saved a lot of money with the on suite kitchen, but we're still in walking distance of some great local spots.
