We stayed at this hotel during an exhibition at the Messe Munich. The hotel is excellent. Great, friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms, good wifi and the food in the main restaurant in the evening was amazing (particularly recommend the Pumpkin & Orange Soup!). The location of the hotel is perfect for the exhibition halls. A short walk across the road which made our 4 day exhibition so much easier! Will definitely stay here again for future exhibitions.
Stayed at this hotel for convenience because it was the chosen venue for a conference I attended. The first room I got had weird smell but the reception staff were very good about changing rooms for me straight away. The room is basic but the bed is comfortable. Food at the hotel is nothing outstanding. Location wise it is very close to the metro station (5min walk) which then takes only around 20-30 mins to get into town. There's a shopping mall nearby if you need to buy anything. Riemer Park just outside is also great for a morning run. Plenty of running paths for a 5-10k run.
The rooms are nice and the public areas good. Breakfast was great with a good choice. My only disappointment was that the hotel is a 25 Euro taxi ride from central Munich, it's my fault for not researching the location enough but worth bearing in mind if you want to walk everywhere. You might find the hotel better value but then spend that and more on transport, as we did.
Worst service. Reception rude like they don't care anymore. We booked one double bed but was given two single bed put together, no instructions was given about the parking area, and worst of all was NO APOLOGY. WORST SERVICE EVER.
The hotel is really good, the room is very comfortable and spacious. The rates are not the cheapest but it's worth it. The breakfast is great with a variety of option including typical german food. Service and cleanliness is also very good. I would stay here again for sure.
This hotel was overtaken by a certain clientele ( the hotel I am sure knows who I am talking about) and their behavior was unacceptable. At the breakfast buffet people were filling up their own little containers with heaps of food and carrying it to their rooms or someplace else. The same with coffee and tea. People were bringing their own thermos and were filling them up while others are waiting in line. It felt more like beeing in a youth hostel than in a hotel. The same clientele had their kids running rampant in the hallways without supervision. I could go on and on but you get the picture. If you cater to this clientele and their total disregard for any rules you should not be surprised loosing you other guests.
Upmarket decor, very well presented, friendly and professional staff and perfect Location for the Messe exhibition halls across the road. €25 taxi trip into centre of Munich. Room was very spacious and beds and pillows very comfortable. Good AC. Very powerful and large shower. Huge windows and well lit, modern ambience. Ultra Modern capsule Coffee Making machine, Complimentary bottles of water and well Stocked fridge make this a pleasant hotel to stay in on your next visit to the Messe. Breakfast is a large buffet fit for kings (it's Usually €18 but I got it for €14). Large and very well Presented restaurant. I paid £100 for one night. Would only offer late check out till 1.00pm. 15 Minute walk to nearest underground train station.
Positives: We were upgraded for €10 (instead of paying the usual €40) per night to sleep at the H4 hotel instead of the cheaper H2 hotel. (same company, more luxurious). It was probably one of the more luxurious hotels during our Europe trip, and we enjoyed every second of it. (Big TV, Internet, Kingsize bed, airco, free SPA facilities, etc.) The only thing that we missed was an inside swimming pool. ;) You can park your car for free in the streets around the hotel, which is always nice in/close to a big city. If you want your car to be safely inside for the night there's an underground parking lot as well. That one isn't free however. =) Negatives: The restaurants at the hotel are a tad expensive. (Close to München city center restaurant prices) I strongly recommend eating at the restaurants in the enormous Riem Arcaden shopping mall that's close to this hotel. (If you're not eating in the city itself that is) There were plenty of restaurants there with decent quality food and much better prices.
Really nice hotel, clean and spacious. Offered all the essentials etc. Buffet breakfast was great with plenty of options. Staff were all really friendly. Its a shame it isn't located centrally - it is located about 25 - 30mins from the Muenchen HBF station.
We stayed one night here when coming back from Croatia. Receptionist was very kind and understanding when we arrived at 3 at night due to trafic jams. Hotel looked very new with nicely designed rooms. 6:30 to 11:00 for breakfast was very handy for us since we arrived so late. Breakfast was descent and diverse. We didn't have breakfast included although the site where we booked it from said we did. This is the sites fault and not the hotels. However a tip: asking to include breakfast the night before saves you 2 euros a person which the receptionist kindly informed us the night before.
