GHOTEL is one of very few hotels/chains with a kitchenette. I always stay here when visiting Munich for a few days because of this facility. The rooms are clean, spacious, modern and spotless. They can get quite hot, though, so be warned if you are there in summer, as there is no air-con and if you have a room facing the street it is too noisy to sleep with the window open.

I was jet legged and no internet to kill time as there was nothing in English on TV. Got super bored. The room was very cold. The heater doesn't heat up the room. Blanket was very small. I am skinny and petit, still doesn't cover me whole. They claim there rooms are soundproof, it's not.

Stayed 9 days at Ghotel in Nov. Location wise it is excellent, close to eateries/super markets and transport hub. Also has a gym to meet my running needs. On the flip side, bec of it’s convenient location.. noise wise, can be an issue to light sleeper. However, if your room is not facing the main road, guessed it will help. Overall, I am happy with my stay.

Room was not what was described in the description of the room that I purchased I was given the description of a room with a courtyard view. Instead, I was given a room with an alley/driveway view with traffic driving by. Just to note the courtyard was 2 floors above me!

Overpriced for the amount of space given, no hot hot water for one night, no towel change until the second day, sink stopper did not let the water drain properly, the room was not as soundproof as expected.

We were welcomed very friendly at the reception. Unfortunately our room was not ready to check in at 5 pm. On the first day we had to shower with cold water. WiFi was not working properly either. There was definitely room for improvement.

Noisy, left after 1 night.

We had to leave the hotel after 1 night. The hotel has a terrace facing the second floor rooms, where guests are allowed to stay talking and smoking up until 1am. Called twice the reception and they allowed people to stay and be noisy. We couldn't sleep at all. We were charged 1 night nevertheless. The room has no ventilation or AC and no fan was provided even if the weather would have required. The beds have a plasticky mattress cover that makes sweating very easy. Would not go there again. The only positive thing is the location, close to Rotkreuzplatz and tram and U-Bahn. Maybe this place is ok in winter, with the windows closed. Wifi is slow. If you get a room, make sure it is not facing the inner court but the road. At least trams stop passing by around midnight.

Nice Off-Centre Stay !

Very nice stay. I had been staying just around the Hbf for my Munich trip so far. This is the first time to stay in a bit off-centre. Actually, it is not far away from the centre; just three stations away fron the Hbf. Comfortable room, nice neibourhood, and importantly ... large parking space, which is not really often available in Munich. This will be definitely my future option in Munich.

Avoid in summer - very hot and noisy - lift broken

Our rooms were on the top floor facing the street and tram stop. The rooms were unpleasantly hot and had no air conditioning. We had to keep the windows open at night and the noise from the trams thundering past was pretty intense. The trams run late and start early, so it was hard to get much sleep. The hotel's single lift was broken for the three days we stayed. Apart from these important issues, the hotel was clean and in good condition. The beds were in principle comfortable. It is located in a nice, central part of Munich.

Convenient to trams and subway and with a beer garden at the end of the block and with parking (an extra charge) the GHOTEL was an good base from which to explore Munich. Good breakfast. Laundry on site. Helpful multilingual staff.
