This hotel is a beautiful old mansion style hotel. You get character without that hotel chain feel. Our room was not overly large but very nice and the breakfast was good with a very friendly staff. The location is away from the tourist crowds but close enough to walk to city center and even closer to walk to public transportation options. The only drawback was the timing of our stay. We checked in four days before the start of Oktoberfest and this Hotel is located about a half block from the Oktoberfest fairgrounds. The crews were still hectically setting up and it got noisy from time to time. This is not the Hotels fault.
Nice old mansion converted to a hotel. Nice large rooms in a very decent residential district. Excellent staff. Very good breakfast. About a KM from main station and old town.
Beautiful old neighborhood close to restaurants and train station.
Nice breakfast, European style. Great location, one station from The main train station and the city’s town hall.
Nice neighbourhood, walkable from the main train station and two metro stations. Neighborhood restaurants nearby, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice and easy breakfast.
The hotel itself is very nice, well kept and in a nice neighborhood near the Octoberfest grounds. Easy walk to the main train station and Marienplatz, etc. Our room was a nice size and very clean. We were surprised to have a water bed but that was OK. Might not be for all. Breakfast was in a lovely room but most items were unavailable when we went down and it took awhile to obtain coffee. For us, the lack of A/C was a negative (although this is not uncommon in Europe). Yes we opened the window and it was certainly bearable but the street noise (back of building deliveries, etc) resulting from that made for a poor night’s sleep.
