Had an amazing time. Awesome ambience, Wonderful Rooms. And a huge shout out to Mr. Sarfaraz Farooqui at the front desk.. The gentlemen was wonderful. He helped us have an awesome stay. It was a friends birthday and Mr. Sarfaraz had all arrangements done from the cake to the wine and the flower bouquet in the end. He was courteous enough to help us with everything that we needed.. Also Mr. Naseer Shaikh at the reception was very polite and humble during the check in. Altogether it was a perfect stay thanks to the staff of Sahara Star and special Thanks to Sarfaraz Farooqui.
This is the fantastic hotel in Mumbai I like this hotel very much I was very excited to see this hotel this is the very fantastic Hotel have never seen this is the best hotel to stay Voda no words to say about this kind of hotels where we find a nice
Very Good infrastructure. Good Rooms but lack the privacy. One can see clothes and undergarments drying in the Balcony. One can see bare chest male sitting in the balcony sipping tea / coffee. People wearing bathroom slippers in the Buffet Breakfast. Food Quality is poor. And if you tell them that food is not OK, they don't like it. Lot of communication gap. 10hrs after check out has been done, you may get a call "Sir, when are you checking out " : ) Wrong people in the Hospitality industry.
Got very impressed with this hotel. Good location. Very well kept and hygienic hotel as well as rooms. Good spacious rooms. Tasty and Good food. Good service by front staff, only thing they need working is room service, which could be better.

When in Mumbai for a short business trip, this is just the right place to be settling down for a vacation home! The Earth Plate (EP) team has been outstanding at taking care of and making me feel at home at every possible moment. To mention a few names for their exemplary hospitality, I have Mr Prakash Balsara, Ms. Jyoti, Ms. Srishti, Ms. Ritu, Mr. Nikhil, Mr. Anand Kumar, Mr. Kamal, Mr. Deepak. Wish you all the very best for your future endeavors. World class hospitality and courtesy!!! You truly create a positive image for our country India and make India proud on the world stage.
Stayed at Sahara Star Hotel... One of the best looking hotels but some of the worst service and policy experience.... Policies which I have not seen many years of my staying in 5 star hotels around India... Right at the time of checkin they ask for a deposit of Rs. 5k as if they are telling you that we don't trust guests and that's why we want a deposit from you... They don't allow you outside food or liquor which is also a first... Room Service is also not upto the mark... WiFi doesn't work great it just keeps on coming and going.... Really unhappy... Would never again stay here....
Great location. Hotel ambience is welcoming and pleasant. Specific shout out to Bell desk staff who looked after our luggage with great service. My compliments to Parvez, Vinod and Sandeep . Overall a wonderful experience.
Had a Great event at the Sapphire Ballroom. Well managed, beautifully decorated, all needs catered too, helpful Staff members. Special thanks to Dr. Pinky Bharadwaj - very accessible, understands family needs, helped us make the event the best possible. Highly recommend the Hotel for Family functions, corporate events, and even for small vacation!
The hotel itself is setup very well and very qirky indeed from the offset. The foyer and decor inside and out is impeccable, however the standard of our room and the service was a little average. We checked in around 6pm and the security and baggage handlers were great. Check-In process took longer than it should have given that there was only one person carrying out the check in and there were three huge desks with no other staff. The room we got given was 4001 and didn't have an inside balcony therefore felt we got one of the less nicer rooms. Amenities in the room were standard. A downside was that when we attempted to make a coffee I the room using the in room kettle, it was filled with either a load of timescale or dried up milk (photos attaches for reference). We visited the Lebanese restaurant for dinner (Mabruk) which is om the ground floor and was great food and service. On check out, we were offered a transfer service to the airport, however refused this given that it was 1500 Rupees and we opted for an Uber which cost around 200 Rupees instead. I put in a special request when I booked given that we were celebrating our anniversary and Mumbai was our last destination however the hotel did nothing at all to accommodate this pre-request. Pros - Close to airport - Great Interior and Decor of the hotel itself (not the rooms as much) - Good choice of nice restaurants in the Hotel Cons - Check In took way too long given that we arrived in the evening. - Kettle in room was unusable. - Room 4001 isnt as great as some of the other rooms.
- Free WiFi in rooms and public areas
- Free valet and self parking
- Onsite dining
- Health club
