Horrible place. First room, the water leaked all over the floor. Dirty towels on the floor. Broken fridge. Asked to switch room. 2nd room, bed was used and messy, asked to switch room again and bed sheets were made but had hairs all over. The room was small and hot.
It is a university student residence being used during summer vacation. Property is well maintained and good for the money.
It is within two blocks walking distance to the jazz festival and a metro station. I don't like that people are allowed to smoke in the vestibule outside the doorway. The smoke lingers and stinks.
This is a great place to stay! I go to the jazz festival every year and stay here. It is reasonably priced, within walking distance to all outdoor venues, close to a metro station and several places to eat, and quiet. Single room has a kitchenette and refrigerator. I highly recommend this place.
Close to everything downtown. Excellent price. Take bus 747 from airport for $10/24H.
To be fair, part of my bad experience was due to circumstances. That said, the line for check in was an hour long, the bed sucked, the room was generally unpleasant, and there was a crazy woman who insisted on talking politics with us.
Very nice location, great staff and vet clean, but impossible to sleep at night time, the fans in the room are so slow they generate no air at at woke up several times stuck to the pillow and my girlfriend and I had really terrible sleep, everything else was great but they either need better fans or an air con system put in, came home exhausted.
