Old hotel huge installations, but comfortable, nice people for service, good meals, but the day I was resting in the hotel the facilities receives an event for local political party (PRI) violence were presented in a few minutes several cops and army forces closed the streets around, people get nervous, me in particular but I never felt insecure but not comfortable with this issues, asking with local people a few years ago they told me people were kidnaped from this hotel, when I was checked in internet and old news, seem to be the kidnapping history was true. So hotel is good but in any given bad luck day, could be risky, seem to be now this days violence is decreasing but you never know...So in my point of view violence is an external issue, hotel is good, old but great, people are quite awesome, check in and check out experience greta, meals very good, rooms good but needs to be modernized.
The hotel is pleasant, with a good checkin experience. The rooms are clean, and the location is good. Overall though, the hotel needs investment. The rooms are tired with chipped paint. Room service entered my room chatting on her phone (without knocking) and was oblivious to me being there until I woke sufficiently to speak (she was apologetic).
Wow, air conditioning sounds like you on a 747 air plane. Loud very hard to sleep. The whole facility needs to refurbish, old. The cost you pay doesn't even come close to the lack of service. Dining expereince needs to be updated for the price you pay. Doesn't come close to the many of the facilities in other countries.
The hotel is very centrally located and appears to be upscale but it has several shortcomings. Check in was not friendly at all. The hotel is an "atrium" type hotel and they had music in the restaurant every night that could be heard throughout and in the room. The rooms have very nice laminate floors and the bed linens are updated but are otherwise very dated. The mattress was very slim and hard. The AC was old but worked very well. The bathroom was small and old and the water pressure in the shower and sink was low. Service in the restaurant was very cordial but slow. Wifi worked very well.
Recently stayed in this hotel - very helpful and courteous staff during our stay. It was a full service hotel that was very welcoming and business friendly. The business center offered printing and copying services. The breakfast was very good and reasonably priced.
The pool is just amazing & it also had a hot tub-like little pool next to the normal bigger pool, gim next to the pool & also a sauna available for all guests!... the salon for events is not only wide but amazing, we had a dancing floor set for the event, also the break fast buffet was just exquisite, from chilaquiles or omellet to fresh made pank cakes and waffles
All in all, my 4 day stay was pleasant. My room was large, quiet (even though I faced the main road), and in overall good condition. All of the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. Their English language skills were much better than my Spanish skills. The shuttle to and from the airport was easy and convenient. I only ate breakfast here one day and it was pretty good. I would stay here again.
Stayed 2 nights. Really nice to stay and enjoy the food and music without the stress of going out. Breakfast was great and dinner buffet had a lot of options. Went to the Bull fights and met the Matadors at the hotel...
This hotel needs a face lift. It's been the same for the last 30 years it feels. The rooms are very average and the beds nothing to compare to other chains. The bed had a low mattress and was low to the floor. Everything seemed very dated . On a positive note the executive lounge on the 15th floor was great and enjoyed working there and the breakfast and snacks. The restauarent on the main floor breakfast is fantastic. But there is only one restaurant in the hotel. The huge lobby bar area is dead most days.. huge waste of space.. neeeds to be updated to feel more modern and welcoming.
The hotel is OK. The amenities are good, but the room not that much. I didn't get recognition for my membership and they don't have fridges at the rooms. The restaurant is good and the breakfast as well.
