The location was convenience to the fishermen’s wharf , downtown Monterey or Carmel. All locations were about 7 mins drive. The room was remodeled , clean, and spacious . I like that it had built in phone charger on the wall. It would be nice to have a lamp on the night stand. The ceiling lights can be very bright if you just want to watch TV but wanted to have some light on. Also it would be nice to have the essential like q-tip. Other than that we enjoyed the hotel.

Clean and spacious room. Staff accommodated request for ground floor instead of second floor. Fan/AC worked great. Shampoo/conditioner provided in the shower did not seem to be condtioner. Floor seemed dirty, so perhaps better door mats during winter time or rainy seasons would help?

The room was decent and fit our needs of the trip. The room was smaller than expected, but alright. Bathroom and bed seemed clean, however the floor was dirty. Wish they offered more towels and pillows for the bed. Walls are thin - could hear footsteps all night from upstairs and people outside. All in all, it is a decent place to stay if you are planning to be out of the hotel room for most of your trip, might not be the best place for lounging and relaxing/napping in during the day.
