Room was clean and nicely furnished but lighting was very poor. Balcony door had no screen - would like to have enjoyed the sea breeze! AC unit kept turning itself off and wouldn't go back on. Hotel exterior needed spiffing up - stairs had large cracks which made them look unsafe(?) Elevator was a mess. Tried to complain about the AC unit when I was checking out but the clerk took a phone call while I was explaining the problem and cut me off - very rude. No breakfast served.

Homeless yelling in parking lot. The room was still in construction phase of paint and drywall. Thin walls very noisy. Loud radios out side thump,thump No coffee maker in the room A/c unit took was like a combination lock to get it to work for a short time. Light bulbs in the bathroom were unscrewed and only one light bulb was operable. VERY MISS REPRESENTING!!!

The property is run down and seemed a bit unsafe. The door to our room was crooked and seemed like it was been kicked in recently. The balcony railing was a bit loose and the sliding glass door to the balcony never shut all the way.

Found dirty underwear in the room. Paint was coming off the tub. Toilet rocked when you say down.

Very friendly staff. Spacious and comfortable room and bed. It's been recently updated and they were painting the outside of the building as well. Had no problems with noise, every once in awhile you'll hear a little traffic. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice location close to everything you need to go eat and have fun

New carpet and bed, I've got broken lamp, there is rust in the bathroom, the AC is very loud and hard to control

Everything was fine until I checked out. I forgot my watch, a ring & my earrings. I called the hotel 20 min after I left to tell them. The mgr said he would go look in the room & to call him back in 10 min. I did. He said he had everything & I told him I would come pick it up after my tour in a couple hrs. I showed up at the hotel and everything was there BUT the earrings. He said they were never there. Which is just not true. Who was in my room between the time I checked out & my call? It was 8 AM! So housekeeping or the mgr kept my earrings. Really crappy of them.

Close to monterey and carmel! A good place for a night along road 1

The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Room looked like the picture. There was a small microwave and refrigerator. Towels were a little rough. The T.V. isn't clear and doesn't have many channels. Parking was very limited. No continental breakfast, just coffee. The person at the desk was not very friendly. Overall I think it was a little pricey for basic accommodations.

Everything was good. The only thing is that I arrived at 10 and the door to the reception desk was closed _(:з」∠)_

Our staff generally does a great job when it comes to maintaining our property and preparing the rooms for upcoming guests, so it is strange that this happened. Furthermore, there should not be any smoking at all. We do wish that you had notified our staff about this as they would have gladly taken care of the issue and switched your room to ensure a pleasant stay for you. Nevertheless, we have noted your feedback, and we will see to it that our staff does a better job of preparing/airing out the rooms moving forward. Our maintenance team has also been alerted to your comments so that they can take immediate action to address the issue that you have highlighted with the pool.
