So much better than expected! The rooms were small but plenty of room for the 2 beds and all rooms have patios! Everything was very clean and the staff was super nice. I am definitely coming back during any future monterrey trips. Plus there's luckys and other main stores right around the corner. It is also not sketch, it's fine.

Very friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms. Thank you

Our room was great! Nice quiet location. Breakfast was included with great coffee! I would stay here again!!! :)

While an effort has been made to remodel the rooms, no effort has been made to improve sound-proofing. The traffic noise is continual except for early morning hours. You will hear footsteps and squeaking noises from the room above whenever there is movement. I am not a light sleeper but the traffic noise kept me up. Some of the employees respond well to requests; other employees seem like college boys on spring break e.g. when a no-towels-in-the-bathroom problem is reported, only one towel is brought to the room. Poor customer service with a don't-bother-me attitude. Only stay here is you are desperate for accommodations.

Nice & quiet and best bet for the money. Should be satisfactory to economically minded.

The motel room was small but clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. I would stay there again. Monterey isn't that far away so the location is good. I would recommend it to a friend.

My friends and I stayed here for one night during our west coast road trip, and we were definitely very impressed - it was probably one of the best places we stayed in during our 18-day trip! This cute little inn is very well-kept and has more than one can ask for on a tight-budget trip. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. The area is nice and quiet but still close enough to all the main roads (we were en route to Carmel). Internet signal was good and complimentary breakfast is always a plus. All in all, superb value!

Great little hotel. Nice. clean and near all major attractions!!

from the discription it sounds like a charming seaside boutique hotel. forgetaboutit, its in an industrial park with muffler and motorcycle shops, off the main drag, the ocean is a gentle walk under two highways in a lousy area. no clock, one bar of soap, towels you won't wash your car with, the entire family lives in the office and speak indian to each other while looking at you. No tv listings, the sheets are 6 inches short and the 1 pillow was the least comfortable cheap thing you could imagine, guest parked on the sidewalk, i asked if we could do a laundry as were going cross country the answer was the boss won't allow it, the guy was standing next to his son who owned the place!!!the rooms smell like curry. Never stay there, not one positive comment and we've lived out of hotels the past few weeks with no real problems

Operators were super nice and the room was cute, clean and comfortable. The entire complex was an adorable "throw back" to the days of the "Motor Inn".

Room was much nicer than I expected. Shower was tastfully tiled and clean. Staff went out of thier way to help me with my special needs.

Everything was nice! I would stay there again if the need arises.

For the price, I was skeptical. What was the catch? Surely it was a dive, or was in a sketchy area.... But in reality, the area was fine (and a 1 minute walk away from Panda Express for dinner), and the hotel was fine. The room was clean, quiet and newly remodeled. It looked just like the picture. The breakfast "room" / lobby was tiny, so it's grab your danish and back to the room (or hit the road). Also, strangely, they had digital cable, WiFi, but no alarm clock. The wakeup call worked fine, though, so no complaints.

Hotel was reasonably priced and staff was amicable but the shower drain was not working and my friend had to take a shower in a tub with my waste water in it. When told to clerk, she seemed surprised but did not offer to discount price. I hope they don't rent out this room again til it's fixed. Otherwise decent accommodations.

I was visiting my daughter in Seaside and wanted a place to stay that was close. I checked ratings online and everyone said this place was nice. The Seaside Inn was perfect for what I needed. It was clean, quiet, and close to shopping, the freeway and beach hiking trails. The management was friendly and accomodating when I wanted to extend my stay. The price was excellent considering just a few miles away in Monterey the same room would have been more than double the price. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to my friends.

Excellent. Small, cozy, clean and very friendly. Close to points of interests in the area.

Great room. Clean and very comfortable beds. I can't wait to go back.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Seaside Inn for a weekend getaway to see the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The staff is very friendly and always readily available. The rooms were nice for the price and quite roomy. There is no pool/hot tub, so no need to pack a bathing suit, but overall this experience was a great last minute trip that I would definitely do again.

Was only place left and I had to be in the area that day. Didn't expect much when I saw where it was, but it was alright in a pinch. Staff was quite nice and prompt. Room was small, but clean. Internet was actually faster than most hotels and reliable. I was afraid area would be loud, but it wasn't once things settled down for the night. There is quite limited parking however, so be prepared to park your car on the street, which made me a bit nervous. All that, though, I would stay again if needed.

We did not get the room as requested (non-smoking double), because the motel did not agree with Orbitz price. We ended up in a somking, stinking room with dirty towels under the sink. Breakfast is funny part - opens at whenever wants and consist of some pastry and coffe to go.
