Very welcoming staff. The room was nice and the view from the balcony was beautiful, we could see the ocean! Bed was firm (not a complaint, just a noticing for people that like or do not like it). We would come back!

Property was nice, interior of room kind of shappy~ No parking in lot, had to park on street, which was not a big deal. Overall we would stay there again, the price was good & we love the area, like your in the forest & walking distance to the ocean

Room could use updating. Mattress is very old and in need of replacement, VERY uncomfortable. Staff are very nice. Continental breakfast comes in a box, that consists of a plain croissant, stale pastry, single Babybell cheese, not the continental breakfast we were expecting, or comparable to other hotel offering a continental breakfast.

Room was clean, heater worked, linen was in good condition. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Parking was terrible because there was not nearly enough to accommodate even one vehicle per room. Handle fell off the sink and shower head leaked. There were no grab bars in the tub and the bathroom floor was stained. We found a prescription pill on the floor that was not ours. The door to the room was a glass sliding door that was the only window in the room. All lights in main area were on a single switch and there were no bedside lights. There were only enough outlets for 4 items to be plugged in. We will not be staying there again.

An amazing experience!! Beautiful room, beautiful view! Really enjoyed the breakfast. Best value in California. A word of caution about Pacific Grove, however: parking in the main part of town is a trap, where the city gives outrageous fines for any car not perfectly within the lines. Otherwise, amazing place.

The room was comfortable. The tub was old and had a few pit marks and stains, but sanitized. The bed was great, but the pillows were not good for sleeping (just for leaning up against the headboard). Our room was right in front of the stairs, so the light at night was quite bright. We have stayed here before and had a better experience, mostly because of the location of the room.
