This place was charming and located in a peaceful neighborhood. Right next door to the monarch butterfly sanctuary, which was one of the reasons we stayed here at this time of year - they overwinter here and we saw big clusters of them and they were flitting around when it warmed up each day. The room was clean and comfortable, good bed. We really utilized the mini fridge! Didn’t use the microwave but glad there was one. The in-room single-cup coffee machine only came with decaf, so we were glad to find a big pot of coffee available in the front office each morning. Parking right out our front door. The heating was a gas fireplace, which was cute and kept the room warm, but it had a loud fan noise that accompanied it the entire time it was on. We figured out it was best for us to warm the room up before bed and then turn it completely off for a more peaceful night sleep. As other reviews mentioned, you can hear goings-on in the next room through the wall. We didn’t find it troublesome, our neighbors were reasonable with sound. Earplugs can fix it if needed though! Overall I would come back for sure. Also, check out Lucy’s on Lighthouse just down the street for loaded hot dogs and chill vibes!
Due to next door noise, I couldn't sleep until 3am then same noise woke me up too early next morning, around 7. It was noise of laughter, talking loudly and telling jokes, which of course is harmless, but the volume just went through the walls! I first called the front desk clerk at around 11pm on our first and only night there, to complain about. After a few minutes, I heard their phone ring, then they brought the volume of their chattering down yet we can still hear them! My son finally dozed off at about 12:30am but I wasn't able to. I put my earphones on and when that didn't help, turned on music yet the music couldn't drown out the noise. I couldn't make another call because it would just wake up my son, who then may have trouble again sleeping.it then got quiet after 1:00am, but I couldn't get sleepy until almost 3am. The guests then got so loud again talking and laughing so loudly and banging things around at about 7am; I assumed they were packing to leave. I finally heard cars doors shut then a car or two driving away. It was after 8am and I couldn't go back to sleep since we had to get up between 8am and 9am to attend a morning gathering with relatives. I'm not blaming the noisy guests; none were arguing; they were just talking amusingly. The noise must be due to the motel's very thin walls. I picked this placed over a cheaper Motel 6 for this since Motel 6 does have thin walls; I expected your inn to be of much better quality especially after paying over $300!
Room was very spacious, had all the necessary things like mini-fridge, microwave. Literally right around the corner from 17 mile drive which made the trip to Pebble Beach Sunday super easy. Staff was helpful, nice area, Pacific Grove lighthouse right down the road, would do it again.

Walls are thin, and due to not having AC, only a ceiling fan, we had to leave the windows open (in hotter months). Maid service only made our bed. No towels, toiletries were left for next day. Coffee machine had dirty filter with a coffee pod from previous use.

Room is spacious and clean. Mattress a bit too soft and pillows lumpy. Bathroom needs remodel. Soundproofing of walls would help. Gardens and pool pleasant.

GOOD: The room was quite large with high ceiling with a big fan at the top that seemed to push a lot of air down. The tv was powered by DirecTV, which helped us since we have that service at home as well. The sink/counter was outside the bath area, so one person could use the sink while another used the bath/toilet. BAD: There appeared to be no heating source other than the fireplace. But no instructions were given for using the fireplace. A dial on the wall said "turn to 90 and leave for 7 second," and appeared to relate to the fireplace, but it did not come on. The outside temperature was mild when we were there early November (2016) so the inside temperature was not a problem. But any colder and it would have been. There is a Jacuzzi tub in the bath, but didn't appear to be working -- at least no instructions were given. The lighting was very odd. One hanging lamp lit a table with two chairs, but that switch also turned on a flood light that mostly was indirect off the ceiling, but also had a visible glaringly bright bulb when viewed from below. It took some time to figure out how to turn on the lamp next to the bed -- unusual configuration.
