The Studio Cottage was a very nice accommodation, Breakfast was very good.
Excellent stay! The area is so quiet and peaceful. Lots of deer roaming the area, just tranquil. The property is wonderful, the front desk staff is amazing. Diane checked us in and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and the staff there were very helpful and polite. The manager was phenomenal, he was the true definition of a manager, we saw him doing many roles there to fill in wherever was needed and he really knows how to make guests feel special and welcomed. Hats off to him!!! We throughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!

Large size rooms (at least the one we got, which I believe was a “junior”), friendly staff, fantastic location, reasonable prices. The hotel is showing its age in terms of facilities upkeep, but we’d definitely stay again.
The property is nice. I was put in a handicap room(which I didn’t need), so the shower was odd, as I had to fenagal the shower head to spray on me hands free. The made to order free breakfast is only if you stay in one of their cottages, otherwise you get a to-go breakfast consisting of a muffin, apple, and apple juice. The fire pits are nice, but again, you have to walk to their other property across down the street to get to them. Overall, it’s not a bad place, Orbitz just misrepresented some of the features.
I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews (and I was almost deterred by them) but I’m happy I went with my gut feel cause this place was really cute! It was very homey and exactly what we were looking for. We got the king lodge and we were surprised how big the room was. The location is perfect, you’re near the shore so you feel the breeze when you open the window. It was also quiet. We had the cemetery as our view but it had the ocean behind it and overall it was still very pretty. The soap and shampoo smelled so good and the room was clean. The bed was very comfy and I slept like a baby. Everybody was so nice too. Again, I don’t know where all the negative reviews are coming from because we will definitely be back!

I love the location of the lodge, near the paths that follow the Monterey Bay. It is quiet and peaceful. Very nice room. We enjoyed our stay.
When we arrived, our room was not ready but the manager was very accommodating and gave us an upgrade to a cottage. The cozy was clean, cozy, and the bed and linens were very comfortable. We enjoyed the large tub and the fireplace after a day of walking along the oceanfront. The location is perfect, close to the coast. I highly recommend staying here!
Close to the Lighthouse & ocean. Beautiful area to bike ride or take walks. Very pet friendly. Will come back again.
Always love staying here. Super close to the shoreline, and away from the touristy areas. A short drive away from Carmel, and from Monterey. Very peaceful... part of the charm is that there's the local cemetery in the backyard, but even the small local cemetery is peaceful like a local park. Other than this, it feels very safe and feels very peaceful. Love the rooms with the fireplace, so nice on a cold night!
