perfect location. Staff were helpful. thanks to Juliana who made everything easy for us

The hotel is in a great area next to the beach and Lovers Point Park. I enjoyed the staff and complimentary breakfast. The room was OK for one night stay. There was only one curtain for the window. So for privacy, you would close the curtain but need to turn on the light. I would prefer a sheer curtain as well as the heavy usual curtain for privacy to let some light in.

we were traveling up the coast, booked this hotel for 1 nite,feb.14, checkin took about 30 seconds,it was great, they were very nice and informational about the area, they even gave us a coupon for free appetizers across the street at the beach house restaurant.

The location is delightful - right next to the beach. Room had a view, and while it was a bit dated, it was comfortable and charming! At check in the staff member was cheerful and helpful Recommended a dinner location and provided a coupon for a free appetizer, and made the reservation for us. Breakfast was as expected, but the raisin bread was wonderful! I would recommend this to people who like low key charming beach locations

Friendly staff. The room had an odor like some kind of wood cleaner or polisher. The odor quickly dissipated as soon as we opened the windows.

Old , smelly carpet in the room . Old flaky painted walls , and that pushing away smell .

I grew up in the Monterey area and moved away during high school. My dream was to always come back with my significant other and stay at Lovers Point Inn. I'm glad I didn't save this "dream" for my honeymoon stay, as that would have been horribly disappointing. The check-in process was super easy. The front desk person was very friendly. I thought our room would be nice since it was on the end. However, it was a very small room with a bed, dresser (that you'd see in a kids rooms) a small fridge & microwave in the closet and then a small bathroom. There was little water pressure. The floor at the foot of the bed was wet. Though we did have a balcony, there were large Christmas decorations on the ledge obstructing our view (we stayed december 29). The price wasn't worth what we received. I am guessing they get so much because people want to stay at "Lovers Point" but there are other hotel options very close by that would probably be nicer and more comfortable.

Good hotel but the bathroom is very small. Quiet and in nice location.

Very uncomfortable bed. All rooms overlooked a motel parking lot, only window of ocean is looking North.

The hotel is a perfect location, overlooking beautiful Livers Point Park and only a 25 min walk to Cannery Row. Also, it is one of the best priced hotels in the area, so for these reasons I would recommend it, but it definitely needs some improvement to make you feel you are getting a better value.

excellent customer service and front desk support. I'll be definitely coming back.

This hotel is extremely well located with great views and a beautiful seaside park across the street in front of the hotel. It is very conveniently located for people in the Monterey area. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. No on-site washing machine/dryer.

Great location for the price. Close to beach and bike/walking path along the coast.

This place is older, although maintained fairly well. It's not fancy, but the location absolutely can't be beat. Just a few hundred feet across the street is Lovers Point Park which is a great place to see the sunrise or sunset, let the kids climb around on some great rocks, and a very well kept and cozy sandy beach with very clear water. This place is priced appropriately, given the age of the hotel and the great location. Breakfast isn't good, but with so many amazing places (First Awakenings!) that's not a big deal. Overall we will definitely stay here again.

Was a great location, off the main path but such a great view when you step out of the room door. Great restaurant across the street, average pricing and amazing atmosphere and views. The staff was prompt and helpful when we had trouble getting our room door to latch fully and offered to change rooms for us. Although we booked a Queen our room was a King and was clean and adequate with a fridge and microwave, iron, and sofa. We enjoyed some TV and cold brews in our room before hitting the town for dinner. Breakfast was adequate, toast, hard-boiled eggs and cereal. Coffee, tea, milk and juice also available. Sea gulls ate our breakfast when I turned around so beware!

While being an older hotel, they have seemed to keep up with the maintenance. Parking is limited but lication is great.

We had a great time. Awesome view, exceptional base location for biking and nightlife.

Booked this hotel due to it's location and lower price over other hotels around this area. It was not worth it at all! I would rather spend a few extra dollars and stay at a decent place than this run down motel. It was so old and dirty and the noises from upstairs and outside kept us up all night. Hot water was not working. Entire place smelled old and dingy.

The hotel is in a wonderful location. very close to the water and walking distance of downtown. It was very clean and one of the best hotels we've stayed. Definately coming back

Incredible location and the staff helpfulness, attention, and response to requests matched the location in every way. Couldn't be more pleased and am already planning for the next stay at the Lovers Point Inn.
