Great views if you get a room on the 3rd floor. Limited parking. Basement parking very difficult. Limited dining in immediate area for families. Rooms very hot w/no swamp or AC. Heater always on. Had to have door, windows, ceiling fan open/on a lot.

Could hear lots of noise from the neighboring rooms, and when requesting service we were ignored. Ended up getting coffee and towels sent up by the front desk, however had to return for cream and sugar. For this price range, often get better rooms and service in Monterey. Location is the only thing they have to set them apart.

This should be called a motel, not a hotel. Good option if you're rolling on a budget. Parking can become a problem later in the evening and during pick season.

Beautiful location. It was my fault that I didn't focus handicap room and that was a big problem. Not the hotels fault. The hotel is much older than it looks, but it is only a 2 star.So for a too star it actually gave four star vibes !!

I loved how close this property was to the bike path. The parking was very convenient to leave my car and go ride bikes. It had a nice view on the third floor of the ocean. The room was clean and nice to stay in

You pay for the views and for the location. It’s beautiful looking out the window but the rooms are pretty small and there isn’t much to be excited about inside. Although I’m more than positive that whoever stays here spends 99% of their time outside you still pay a pretty penny to have a semi comfy bed. Parking is at least on site and ok. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and elevator is in good condition. We did have a breaker trip and we lost power in half our room for about a half hour lol which was fine but also kind of funny since I was literally heating up some breakfast for myself. Perfect walking distance to downtown, beach, and trail that will take you to the aquarium and cannery row. If you just need a bed to sleep in for the night then this is your place!

Filthy. Don't trust google reviews. Read the yelp reviews. They are morw accurate. Carpet was very dirty and smelly, like mold or mildew. We did not use the shower because it was dirty and the towels were on top of a very rusty rack. If you have to stay at this inn, bring your own blanket, pillow, shower shoes, and toilet paper. Ive never seen toilet paper like the ones at this place.
