I love it!

Second stay at this great little property. Perfectly located

Centrally located. You could hear the people above you and next to you going to the bathroom and passing gas. Bed was very uncomfortable. Needed new mattress.

I loved this place. There was a wood burning fireplace, and they provided all the wood and more that I needed. Across the street from Asilomar and a short walk through the grounds to the incredibly beautiful beach. Breakfast was simple but plentiful. (hot waffles, fruit, bagels, coffee, juice). Staff was remarkable in every way. Friendly, professional, followed thru on every request. I'll be back!

It’s very relaxing & within walking distance to the beach. Continental breakfast was extensive and staff make you feel like family.

Great location close to Asilomar beach. Facilities in the room a bit out dated. Good continental breackfast, but dining area is too small.

The hotel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood immediately next to Asilomar Conference Grounds. I received a free upgrade to a mini-suite, which is basically a one-bedroom apartment on the ground floor. The suite was very spacious, but it had only one heater near the kitchen; so I had to leave the bedroom door open if I wanted to heat the bedroom at night as well. Overall, the lodging was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. This is a cheaper and perhaps nicer accommodation compared to Asilomar Hotel for access to local attractions.

I would recommend by saying, “ if you need a place to stay that’s close to Asilomar and it doesn’t need to be fancy, it’s not bad.” That said....the room itself is pretty dated, the countertops, carpet, etc definitely show wear. The fireplace was nice but after awhile I could smell smoke in the room, which made me think exhaust outtake wasn’t working quite properly so we opened the windows because I was not wanting to die of carbon monoxide poisoning. It’s always expensive on the coast this time of year no matter where you stay so I don’t really have any thoughts on whether or not it was a “fair” price. When we booked the room said it could hold three so we expected a sofa sleeper but when we got there it was only a king so we paid another $20 for a roll out for our daughter. Again you can’t beat the location and that’s what you are paying for...a block up from a beautiful beach and great running, walking or hiking trails and you can hear the ocean with the windows open:-) Would stay again if other hotels around here weren’t available. They do have wine and cheese in the afternoon but we missed it and the breakfast included, pastries, bagels, make your own waffles, boiled eggs, some fruit...

We loved our stay. Bed a bit to firm. Older hotel but clean and charming. Loved the wood burning fireplace. Popcorn popper in room was a nice touch. Wine and cheese in the evening. Nice breakfast. Great hot tubs. Nice area close to the beach. Nice chatting with other guests in the lobby where the goodies are served.

Enjoyed our stay! Likes that it was a small hotel, wine & cheese hour, breakfast, pet friendly (no additional charges!!), across from Asilomar beach, & a 5 minute drive to downtown Pacific Grove.

We had a wonderful trip. The hotel manager Robert was professional, and available to assist us with our needs.
