Room was not ready till 3:30 check in is at 3pm..Electricity went out could not make coffee in room. or shower without the lights.. Went to get Free continental breakfast (they we all out of everything!) the man in the office said I need to go to the store (REALLY) you run a hotel and run out of food! for your customers, many of us book hotels based on what they have to offer,I should get my money back for this bad experience! we came home without showering or eating. We had to spend extra money to have breakfast. when we should have saved money This was a disappointing stay at this hotel... I lose hard worked earn money on a place that had nothing to offer at the end of my stay..

The rooms could use some updating, but were clean and comfortable. The fireplace was an electric....the heat worked but the light wouldn't stay on, so that was a little disappointing. We had a suite with a separate bedroom, a living room with a sofa, and a small kitchenette and dining table. I had to ask for extra coffee each day for our room. Continental breakfast was basic but enough for our needs.

Spacious room, but older facility. Good place to sleep, but no amenities for children. Staff was very nice & helpful.

Clean and friendly. 2 bedroom room with only 1 x 2 sweater sofa was a bit of a let down if there had been 4 of us. Bad enough with 3. No Wi-Fi was a total pain. Couldn't receive signal even outside. Nobody able to come up with a solution. Good location for walking or biking the coast. Breakfast minimal but OK.

nice room--not really an ocean view as advertised. QUIET, even though it's near a street. close to the water. thought it was a little over priced.

The location was great - the tree-lined, far end of P.G. and a short walk to Asilomar State Beach. If it's a clear evening, go watch the sunset. The room was a bit small, but cozy and the bed, very comfortable. There's not much as far as dining options, but there's room service, where you can order from a menu of a few places that deliver up til 9:30pm. High speed wireless was really fast!

Attended conference at the Asilomar that was about 4x's as expensive than Bide-A-Wee. The Bide was within walking distance of the beach and a marine mammal sanctuary where there were otters to view in kelp beds and sea lions. Fabulous restaurants in nearby Pacific Grove within a few minutes drive. The staff was nice and the continental breakfast was good too.

Check in very bad. Supposed to b 2:00. Left & returned 4 times a & finally got in at 3:00 only because cleaning lady saw us & said if we would wait l5 minutes she would get room clean & ready. Respresented as 2 bedroom unit. Was l bedroom with a bed stuck in the living room. We told you we had small dog & thought price would include dog but they charged us $66.00 more because of dog. Staff was helpful and kind. Beware of reserving a room that says "2 bedroom". You will only get one bedroom. Very misleading advertising.

We have been many times as it is a dog friendly motel. We love the Monterrey area.
