Iberostar Rose Hall Beach All Inclusive

1. On day one they got the room incorrect. Ordered 2 beds in 1 room but one bed was assigned. Had to have a room change directly after checking in. not a great way to start vacation after traveling for hours. 2. Most staff knowledge is limited to just their specific job assignment. 3. Client Services had no clue about how we could secure transportation to the airport. they had to refer us to another desk for assistance. 4. Magnatic keys had to be reset 2-3 times during a 6 day stay. 5. Appear that there maybe shortage on housekeeping staff. Left out of the room from 9:30 am and returned at about 2:30 pm and the room hadn't been made up! This only happened one day to our knowledge. We did not go back to the room earlier than 5:00 pm on other days, so who knows if this is normal. 6. Liquor used is cheap. Don't have many name brand/top shelf liquor. Bartender told me top shelf liquor can be found at Ibereostar Grand. A number of sweet drinks available with vey little liquor. 7. Most staff members are very nice however, some aren't genuine as they are only working to seek your approval simply to get a tip. they focus on quantity not quality. That is, how many people they scan eat in their assigned section, with the expectation of getting a tip. 1 Concierge rude! 8. Utilities are poor, the lights went out (brownout) 3X's in one day! Also, internet connectivity is poor. It isn't available consistently throughout the day and evening. May need new or additional routers.

Overall a 3 AT BEST. Stayed at an Iberostar in Punta Cana and had a similar, not quite to this extent, experience. After this I will never stay at an Iberostar again. Lacked palm trees on the beach, infinity pool was nice. The food wasn't bad, it wasn't great. Logistically an awful design. The lack of customer service was APPALLING. I was told on the phone, one of the times the front desk felt like answering, that I "should've stayed somewhere else" word for word. I was also told they have coolers not a fridge in the room so no cold drinks! False advertisement on their part about their alcohol. I cannot drink well liquor or I will get a migraine. They had no option about a premium alcohol package like a lot of resorts say. Day 1 saw Stoli, Smirnoff and Absolut. Day 2, I go to the pool, see the bartender move it down. When asked begrudgingly brought it up. Day 3 I was told multiple excuses of why it wasn't there. 2 days we got champagne at breakfast, every other day they had some excuse why they couldn't serve it. Riu brand is AMAZING. STAY THERE. You get SO much more for your $ AND you are treated better. They have bottles at breakfast and are happy when we have fun. I should clarify none of these are adults only resorts. It's not cheap to go to either but Iberostar you pay so much more, it's not as nice, people are rude, it's difficult to get anything. It's overall not worth the money. Riu Palace = SUCH a better deal. They're happy when you're happy and work for your vacation

Very aesthetically pleasing. View from the infinity pool overlooking the ocean was gorgeous. The food was what you would expect from an all-inclusive resort. I did contract travelers’ diarrhea so make sure you bring your AD meds. The customer service was sub-par. After thinking my refrigerator was broken due to being hot, I called the front desk and was informed it’s a cooler so no beverages stored in there would stay cold. When I requested cold drinks be brought to my room I was told to walk to the hotel lobby across the resort. I’m not sure about you, but if I’m calling for room service that usually means I don’t want to leave my room. During the first 2 days, we were served champagne with breakfast but on days 3-5 we were told to go to the hotel lobby. On day 1 the pool bar had Stoli, ABSOLUT and some low quality vodka. By day 2, we were told there was no quality vodka at the pool bar but AGAIN we could walk to the hotel lobby. I’m not sure about you but if I’m drinking in a pool, the last thing I want to do is walk across the resort for a drink. They eventually brought more down but not without hesitation and getting annoyed each time I requested good vodka in my drink. Lastly, I booked an excursion for 9:15 am (circled for emphasis on the receipt) however, when I showed up they told me I was very late and because I should’ve been there at 8:15, making me look rude to the other customers when they were at fault. Overall, I would recommend staying at another resort.

Staff was very friendly and informative about the activities in and out of the hotel. They kept my room clean. Nice swim up bar facing the beach. About 15-20 min from the airport. Overall had a good time and met plenty of new people because they host a lot of weddings.

Unknowingly was coerced into a timeshare presentation that put a damper on my whole stay. If you ask the staff a question they look at you like you have 10 heads and then sometimes give you an answer while acting like you insulted them. The food had no flavor and you can only get one dinner reservation. The other nights you have to eat the buffet. My college cafeteria has a better selection. The housekeeper threw away all of my paper and other things of value. I’ve literally never had a worse all inclusive experience. There was no excitement here. Avoid this place if you can and definitely don’t sign up for the “free” breakfast at the nicer hotel... it’s a scam. At the end they’ll be asking you for 40k.

Everything was wonderful! The staff was amazing and the restaurants were great! The drinks were terrific! I would go back again anytime! The beach was wonderful!

All positives. Easy check in, friendly and attentive staff, excellent food and a beautiful facility. Would definitely return.

Beautiful beaches ,bed was very comfortable in the room and staff was very accommodating Would definitely return on a future trip

Loved the location! Beautiful as far as the beach, pool, etc. The physical characteristics of the rooms need an upgrade. Old room, housekeeping not very good, and everything in the room is just old. Can't believe the outside is just so beautiful but the rooms aren't. And the room service gets zero stars. Overall, I had an absolute BLAST in Jamaica! I'll be returning but it's not likely I'll return to this resort until they fix up the place. It's not the worst but it's not the best either, lol. ❤️Jamaica❤️

Good vacation for all inclusive family and friends

My wife is not easily impressed, but from the moment we entered the hotel she was impressed to the point where she could not wait to start taking pictures. The staff was very accommodating, friendly, and professional. The food was good and plentiful. The beach in the back of the hotel was one of the best beach I’ve found that close to a hotel. We will be going back again next year.

this hotel was very nice hotel staff were very helpful and were full of vibes at all times. food was amazing! some lady complained about music on the beach if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful vacation maybe the Ibero beach is not for you maybe stay in the suites. everyone at Ibero beach is there to have a good time.make sure to always lock your valuables in the safe just to be safe. the bartenders in the lobby and by the pool deserve tips! they will make you forget about all your problems and just enjoy your stay. the beach can definitely use a better music selection they did play the same songs over and over again. all in all this is a very good hotel and I would def recommend It to anyone that wants to have a great Jamaican experience.

I love it. Would go back there anytime. Cannot find one negative thing. Was my first visit and I enjoyed it very much .

Nice hotel right on the beach. Rooms are a little dated but very clean. View was awesome!! Beach BBq was fantastic!! Staff was great and very entertaining.

Beautiful resort with excellent staff. Love waitress Monique on the beach and the entertainment staff, including Teddy Bear and Mr. Neat. We have returne several times. Only complaint would be more variety of food at the buffet.

Great hotel, great food and extremely friendly staff. If you don't enjoy your stay here, you won't enjoy anywhere.

I was there for one day and experience roaches in my room .I had to request my room change which was to second floor.

I hat was meant to be a nice family celebration turned out. To be one of our worst holidays. From arrival it was clear staff not prepared to make effort Their default response to things was NO We had children and we were celebrating a 50th party but they made us feel like a nuisance No one was prepared to do anything until we kicked a fuss Basic things were use simply being made a big deal of Despite informing of our holiday/ celebration they did not seem interested in us at all We noticed a difference in how other guests were treated

Poor customer service Staff said no every request Food was boring Guest service was difficult to work with No wifi the first 4 days No bell service for luggage on departure Will never return

The staffs were friendly. We enjoyed our stay and wish it could have been longer.
