"I would be somewhat hesitant picking the hotel. It's not actually at the beach and there is only one free entrance but more importantly it's very noisy due to a nearby nightclub and there were a lot of local Jamaicans staying at the hotel, some of which were drinking and smoking weed (the later is quite normal in Jamaica but not something I am used to or appreciate being close to). The staff did its best to help and accommodate me (including the security guard who is there from 5 PM to 8 AM). They were very friendly but this was not exactly the kind of place I had expected when booking. I also kept struggling with mosquitos in the room that we never managed to get rid of even if the latter was probably just unfortunate."
