The hotel is located in the heart of OR- close to Bay beach& restaurants. The area is rundown but safe ( was told so). The hotel is new so updated & clean . Rooms are good except that there is not a single window ( I was told it is so to keep away the sights, sounds & smells of the busy town - which makes sense) Small rooftop pool - bare - no foliage/ jacuzzi or hot tub) The staff in the restaurant was pleasant but seemed to be ‘non generous’ with food- feels weird coming from the US but it is a poor country so understandable. I accept the quirks of travel So, overall good 👍

This is a small hotel on a main street in Ocho Rios. The hotel is very clean. The rooms seem recently updated and the bathroom is nice. The air conditioning works almost too well and the hot water is hot which is a good thing. The Jamaican breakfast was good and we had dinner there one night and it was good. We enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic Boutique Hotel

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at this beautiful boutique hotel in Jamaica, and I can confidently say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcomed every single person I interacted with was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Their hospitality truly made the experience feel like a home away from home. The food was another highlight of my stay every meal was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. Knowing that the hotel partners with local farmers to source fresh, sustainable produce only made each bite more meaningful. It’s a wonderful feeling to support a place that supports its community in such a thoughtful way. As a Black/Jamaican owned hotel, this place also carries a deep sense of pride and authenticity that you can feel in everything from the decor to the service. I’m so glad I chose to stay here and will absolutely be returning on my next visit to Jamaica. Highly recommend!

Everything was good until the waiter decided to overcharge me at the restaurant. He decided to add an extra 25% on top of my bill for I don't know what because Im paying a service charge for eating at the restaurant according to my receipt. He could not explain what this 25% extra is for as it was not included on my receipt. Even after going back and forth the issue was still not solved. This is clearly a way of cheating guests to get the extra money.
