I had an excellent stay at this property. The host was very attentive and friendly. The house I stayed in was larger than I expected, with everything I needed to make my extended stay comfortable. I especially appreciated the secluded private parking and easy access. Additionally, the neighborhood felt safe, quiet, and pleasant. The entire experience was perfect. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

I absolutely loved this home and neighborhood! We felt at home and would find ourselves driving around Midtown just to look at the Southern charming homes. This home is a perfect depiction inside and out!!Great location!! Near Yellowhammer Coffee for daily coffee and Mudbugs for a Southern must try when you’re in Mobile for lunch or dinner.

Very cozy quaint home. The house was clean, well appointed and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe. There are a lot of historic old homes in the area. Had a very enjoyable 10 day stay for work.

Convenient & Cozy

This house reminded me of my grandmas house. It was very nice. It had everything I needed. It is super cute.The communication was timely and very nice. Loved listening to the records.Thanks for allowing me access to the collection. I had a great time, was so comfortable I was sad to go. It was so conveniently located to the conference center and places to eat. The beds were more comfortable than home. They thought of everything. Would stay again. Wish I had stayed longer.

Old-school Charm

We love the record player and all the vintage records, the cozy front sitting room and the comfortable couch, the adorable bedrooms with the rocking chair, the handy air conditioning and having a laundry that we could use. The location is very convenient to downtown, shopping, restaurants etc but predominantly because it was so quiet and surrounded by cute character homes and large oak trees.

This property was clean and adorable with thoughtful amenities like body wash and toilet paper. The owner was quick to respond and very helpful. My sister and my niece and I were comfortable and felt safe in the neighborhood. The home is older but updated beautifully.

Nice home! Safe and quiet neighborhood

Thanks for the great stay at the Shadows. Everything you need is provided. Close to everything in the area. Good safe side walks to explore the neighborhood. I would suggest some sort of handle in the bath tub area for safety. A decorative handle could work. It does not need to be intrusive to the decorative theme. The bed in the room closest to the living room was most comfortable for us. We tried both of course. And the first room is more quiet as you can’t hear the ac compressor turning on in the second room.

Stunningly Charming Historic Home!

Catherine's precious home in Mobile was exquisite and absolutely perfect for an extended stay in the city, a quick weekend visit, etc. It was far enough away to feel as secluded and safe as a charming neighborhood can feel, but close enough for all attractions. We were enamored with the efforts to modernize and decorate the home without losing the integrity and utterly unique magic of the historic home... No potential needs were overlooked and communication was top tier level... Catherine went above and beyond.. Thank you for an amazing experience!
