HYATT house Minot

Comfortable and Friendly

This hotel is comfortable in the room, the Foyer and the community area (dining room). The comp. breakfast is one of the best in terms of options and freshness of the offerings. Staff is totally friendly and pays attention to little details throughout.

Comfort Inn

The staff were friendly and the room was nice.

My only two concerns were that the hot tub wasn't working, although my kids enjoyed the pool, and that there wasn't much breakfast left when we came down at 8:30. They were in the process of getting more but we couldn't wait. Overall, pretty good.

La Quinta Inn & Suites Minot

Nice enough for the price

Nothing about this hotel stands out, positive or negative, but it’s nice enough for the price. The website showed a bigger couch/sleeper bed (3 sections vs. 2), and the pool slide appeared to have been removed. The first room they gave me had an adjoining wall with the ice machine/vending area and when I asked if I could have room farther away they gave me another room without question. The second night there were kids hockey teams staying there and the parents were paying NO attention to their kids running up & down the halls screaming. They did get shut down shortly after 10 p.m., probably by hotel staff. I guess that’s a risk you take when going with one of the least expensive hotels. If not for the rowdy hockey kids it actually would have been kind of nice. All in all I would still recommend it, but you may want to ask if there will be any kids sports teams there during your stay.
