Me and my family were NOT staying there anymore unless that’s the only available hotel available in town!
I called ahead before booking the Clarion to ask about the pool. I was first put on hold and then hung up on. I called back and no answer. I called a 3rd time and asked if the pool was working and if it was warm. I was told everything was working properly. The pool was in fact not warm at all. They have a great children’s pool but my child’s lips and hands were purple after just minutes of swimming. Even the hot tub wasn’t hot! The pool area itself was cold! At other hotels through this chain I have been able to get an educator discount but was told I could not for this particular weekend.I am extremely disappointed and would not recommend this hotel to anyone who plans on using the pool.
Room had dirty used towels when we checked into room. The tub drain did not drain. We reported this several times, over course of 3 days this was still not fixed.
bigger hotel in town. bar inside, which made it nice. not much to do in minot, or North dakota in general.. was there for work
The staff was extremely friendly and took care to help out and give local information.
We loved the pool area for the kids. It was perfect for our toddlers.
We had booked a family reunion vacation and was told the pools were "functional" the kiddie pool with the slides where "under construction" so none of the little kids could use the pool. and the keys to the rooms rarely worked. Not a good experience over all
This hotel is a nice choice for a quick overnight with the kids. The pool is a good size with a great area for young children my two boys loved both slides. My wife and I really like how the kids pool was on 6” to 1.0’ deep in the entire kids pool area. It was a little cold inside the pool area for the kids but overall a fun overnight

Good, Small bathroom, but bigger room comfortable with 2 doubles and a roll away. had to ask for towels every day, but great service, everyone very nice and helpful. Had a black Jack table going every night we were there. Zoo just down the road, was rebuilding from the flood, but making progress and had about 2/3 of animals back. State fair grounds across the street. rate was high, saved by booking and paying in advance. pool area good. large hot tub, they removed the sauna why we were there. pool shallow and a kids play area with small slides, great area for smaller kids, Comfortable stay.
Nice comfortable rooms, great people, fun lounge in front and good restaurant on site. The indoor pool is a mini water park. I stay here whenever I can but will not pay the $150 and $180 charges, not worth it.
The weather could have been better, but our room made up for all the rain. The room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed.
We had a good stay. It was relatively quiet and fairly close to the center of town. Nice amenities, including ability to walk to restaurants inside.
The fitness room that was advertised has been under construction for over one year and was not available. Comforter was not in a duvet cover, but only covered by flat sheets. I was woken up by staff at 11:30 pm, who wanted by credit card number, stating that they forgot to take it at check in. All vending machines were out of order and I had to get room service to get bottled water. However, the room was quite and but for the wakeup call at 11:30 pm, I slept through the night. I had to get to the courthouse in the morning, which is only a few blocks away, however, I had to call a taxi because the shuttle driver would not drop me there on his way to the airport. Other hotel shuttles are happy to accommodate such requests.
Room was small but adequate. Bed was comfortable. Location to airport was good. Room was overpriced, but everything in Minot is.
For the most very nice experience. Resturant next door was very good.

Second time in the last month I have stayed at this Holiday inn. They are friendly staff and were helpful. I enjoy this motel. Very clean and nice.

The regular swimming pool and the hot tub were functional during your stay, just not the kiddie water park, which was a last minute shut down due to maintenance, which I do apologize that it wasn't made clear during your check in about the situation. Hello thank you for taking the time to share your experience at our hotel and on behalf of all of the staff I would like to apologize that we were not able to meet your expectations during your stay with us. The weekend you had a reservation for was during a blackout date for a near sold out event, which unfortunately made it so we could not offer any special rates. Due to this event our workers were also busy with last minute reservations and check ins, and our hotel does not have a reservations call center to handle excess calls we receive while busy. In regards to the pool area we unfortunately had an electrical malfunction with the heaters and had our maintenance staff doing all they could do to fix it without shutting the whole pool area down. We do hope that you will give our hotel a second chance so that way we can surpass your expectations of us, and give you an enjoyable stay.
