room smelled of old smoke even though ND hasn't allowed smoking in rooms for years in am on Sunday, neighbors started hollering in hallway at 730 to each other, they must not have had cell phones

Convenient location, could use some updates but the price was right, so I’d stay again in the future.

Bathroom smelled, the staff was loud in the hallway for two hours. They did let me check in early which was nice

All the rooms overlook the pool and it was very noisy until after 1 am

The reason we chose the hotel was because we had spent our wedding night in the bridal suite there 53 years ago. The bridal suite had a round bed and was totally upscale.

They wouldn’t let me check in because Orbitz’s card was declined. I’d already been charged but no one could fix it for an hour. Difficult, especially at 1:30am.

Convenient location. On site dining. Nice indoor pool. There are a few arcade games for kids.

Nothing unique but rooms clean. The restaurant was absolutely terrible. I couldn't eat the food.

Did not like the fact that there was a $100.00 hold when checking in some people are allowed so much a day to spend and when you shop all day then go check in without knowing this... and beds are horrible

Nice hotel with bar..If you want really quiet room, get one away from the pool. The kids love the pool and get a little loud..Other wise, very nice hotel for the price..Always stay there when I come to Minot..

Very nice hotel for the price. Easy to access, housekeepers were very pleasant

Love the shuttle service & the staff was nice. But the central pool & chlorine smell made the whole place smell moldy & made me feel nauseous.

Very nice Hotel and great location. Especially liked tbe specious rooms.

Very noisy, carpet in lobby and pool area filthy! Should be replaced

My old standby in Minot is now just another hotel. They are now charging to leave a vehicle just like everyone else. You have to wear an identification bracelet if you use the pool. On Memorial Day, both the restaurant and the bar were closed but the room prices were the same. Not the same place at all. So far, though, the rooms are still very comfortable and clean. I'll be price checking in Minot before I stay at the Grand again.

Nice, comfortable room. Nice towels, and friendly staff.

This room was clean, and welcoming as a hotel room can be. We were just passing through, so it was only one night. We had a poolside room, and so the pool noise was there until it closed, but they do have a very large pool if you want to use it. Also, the staff were nice and made a point of telling you that if there was a problem don't hesitate to call. No breakfast in the morning though, so you're out of luck there. And while normally a deal breaker, because the state fair was in town, securing a room was a big slim on pickings.

Comfortable with nice restaurant located in the motel.

Went there for a birthday. Was a great stay, clean rooms, nice pool for the kids. Definitely get your monies worth and great price for the room in the Bakken.
