NO ,, from the time we got here , but had to stay with crew . We needed plugs to plug in our trucks .. only 2 worked on outside perimeter of parking spots . Kinda inconvenient when they say they have some and none work . They charge 30 a night per dog ! That's crazy . No coffee pot , no microwave . Still 89 a night these are crazy prices , for OLD stays . For 10-20 more stay in updated newer, cleaner , and coffee pot , AND WILL have a pool . AC/ heat barely worked in 108 .closet rack is way unlevel .. but it works .. just people need to know . Not a good stay for money it's a 50-60 a night at most .. AND most of ALL this SHOWED up TOO. It's always questionable when you have five cars in the parking lot packed full of books and VHS movies?
Rooms are big and spaceous commpared to other hotels I stayed in, and usually equipped with a TV. Bathrooms were neat and tidy, albeit a bit small. Breakfast is availabe in the lounge for free, as well as a microwave. Plastic cutlery and napkins are available round the clock, if you prefer to eat in your room etc. Staff was polite and helpful - my AC happened to break due to bad luck, and when informed, staff moved me to a better room without extra charge.
Looking for an inexpensive hotel in Anoka, MN skip this one. Two separate rooms because they couldn't accommodate me in the same room. Both the bath and hand basin drained very poorly. I opened the window for some fresh air and ran out for about an hour only to find upon my return that maintenance guy doing some cleaning decided to remove his sneakers and place them on the ledge outside the open window to my room. Sunday when I was due to check out and called the front desk to ask for an extended check out I was informed that they would give me an extra 15 minutes or else they would have to charge me $10 per hour. The better hotel choice would be the AmericInn about 3 miles down the road for about the same cost, a cleaner more modern hotel that is in a much nicer location and convenient to restaurants and shopping.
I needed to travel at the last minute, so booked a night at this place. When I arrived late, they "did not have my reservation". I provided the confirmation e-mail, but it did me no good. I was told that only one room was left, and it was over 50% more expensive than my reservation. They would not do anything to accommodate me, and I was told to take it or leave it. I left it, and I will never go back.
My son booked a room for his sister and nephew who had come from out of town to attend grandma's birthday party however when my daughter arrived she was very rudely greeted by front desk and told only the person who paid for the room could check into the room and that my daughter was committing identity theft! My son then called the hotel and had no luck with this extremely rude woman. My son clearly stated when booking the room the party who would be staying was not the person paying for the room this rude woman insisted my son drove 40 miles to check in. He had to cancel the room and my daughter and grandson had no other place to go at 10 p.m as this rude employee spent over an hour of time just to turn her away. What a sad horrible thing to do to someone traveling and getting in late with a child along. Please don't be fooled by the low price this place is horrible
Upon our arrival I noticed a peculiar odor in the room, once we opened the window it quickly disappeared. The room was clean, had comfortable beds, and a refrigerator, but lacked a microwave or coffee maker. The AC unit was loud, and I mean loud, but it kept the room cool. I personally would rather have loud and cool than quiet and warm. The hotel itself is a bit run down and is in desperate need of renovation, but again for the price 5 stars should not be expected.
Overall the hotel is very easy to locate and navigate to. Upon arrival to my room, I did notice a weird smell but it dissipated shortly after being there for a while. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were full and also comfortable. The bathroom was clean and tidy. Worth what was paid for the room. Would stay there again.
I had called to make a reservation for my son and his wife, they would not take my credit card for the room over the phone, wanted me to fax a copy of it and my ID, and I would have to be there when they checked in. Well that wasn't going to happen so I asked if they could pay cash no problem, she gave me the amt of the room so I sent the cash with. When they got there, they wanted a deposit of twice the amt of the room plus the room cost. I called and the gal was sooo rude, I asked to talk to the manager and she said she was the manager. I had to call around to find them another motel. I will NEVER call them again or recommend this place.
Front door was unlock when got there and also look like some try break in because doors damage. Won't honor the discount code. TV 25 yrs old none thing up date. The bathroom door won't close right, Had paint on the sprinkler systems and no update smoke alarm. Look like haven't dust in the room. Overall I won't have anyone stay here. Also someone either pull alarm or something and set up the alarm at 3:00 a.m. in morning. I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO GET MY MONEY BACK FOR STAYING IN THIS MOTEL.
We just stayed at the regency inn of Anoka, Mn and lemme just say it was HELL! we were on family vacation and needed multiple rooms. NO ONE got the price or room they thought and we couldnt get into the rooms on time cause they were "cleaning". later we found BLACK MOLD in the showers with mystery goop on the showers (looked like male body fluids) as well as a USED dirty pair of panties and condom! EWWW! the sheets were nasty stained with what appeared to be dried blood, urine and poop. We had been quoted 79 a night but ended up paying 110 for the room and for some bizarre reason 7 bucks per person per night .... that was NEVER mentioned! The front desk couldnt even speak english and got very rude and angry when we asked questions. What is worse is the so called continental breakfast looked like week old food from a gas station. I ate a roll that didnt look to bad and ended up with digestive issues for a few days afterward! The shampoo and soap offered was like plastic and didnt even lather! towels smelled like dirty diapers and the sheets were stiff and very itchy! THIS HOTEL IS HELL ON EARTH! NASTY!
