A number of people (6-8) milling around the front door smoking when I arrived. A couple of larger dogs there too. The woman at the desk was very friendly and tried to be helpful. No elevator in the hotels even though it has three floors.

The hotel was very clean, staff was so polite and helpful. Only thing that I didn't like was there was no elevator and had to walk up a steps to the 3rd floor with luggage and they didn't even offer to help.

Quick stop while traveling. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was very good in the morning. Would definitely stay again!

The room was great but the staff was hardly to be seen and when I did see them they were busy talking amongst each other and got attitude when asked for help

experience was okay, blank on the bed had a cigarette burn in. the breakfast wasn't that great. was looking for eggs, sausage, didn't have.

The location itself isn't bad it is easy to get to but MN Hwy 13 is terrible. It is a terrible road, rough and crowded but I guess that isn't the hotel's fault. It was a decent place for a good price I would recommend it. My only complaint is that they require a $100 cash deposit for a pet. I don't have a problem with the deposit but I called to make sure everything was in order since we were traveling with a pet and while they told me about the deposit they never said anything about it having to be in cash.

The hotel was nice, the staff...not so much. But i love saving money $$$$$ :)

Upon arrival, the receptionist was not very friendly. Our room was on the 3rd floor, and there were no carts or elevators. We were scolded in the pool-area because we had beer (alcohol is not allowed in the pool area). Threatened with a $100 fine.... Sunday morning I asked the front desk for a towel and she said that they had NO extra towels available. The bathroom was really really small, and the bed was not very comfortable. We were awoken by trains at night

We stayed for a week. The staff was really good. The room was alright. Comfortable beds. There was road construction right in front of our hotel so coming and going was my only complaint.

The room was clean and adequate for our one night stay. The clerk gave us good information on nearby dining.

AIR IN THE WATER LINE

Went in, watched a little TV and slept -- ate breakfast in the morning. Dogs everywhere (in our room too) so that was good. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was small, breakfast was edible.

No elevator, but nice. Staff was friendly, Breakfast was great, very affordable

The hotel labby and hallways were screaming hot - the staff was nice and the hotel was clean. the room was SUPER SMALL - i had to open a window to change my mind! Biggest issue was they hd 3 women working from 4pm on - they were very nice but wicked loud! They were walking up and down the halls yelling to each other, laughing and joking at midnight - you could hear them all throughout the building.

Convenient location, near resturants and clean, comfortable pillows and bed.

Went for a doctor's appt. at Univ. of Minnesota. I was NOT fond of the mold growing in the shower. My grandsons who were with me had a blast in the pool. Also, was not happy that I did not get a medical discount for staying there.

Upon check in I was given a room on the 3rd floor with no elevator to get to the 3rd floor. I stayed for two days and since I have problems going up stairs I told the clerk I needed a room on first or second floor. I was told by the clerk that someone needed to fill the 3rd floor rooms. There is also a factory that is open 24 hours 7 days a week that makes alot of noise which I found to be unbeleivable! They serve a breakfast but do not empty out the garbage so people had to through out there garbage on the floor or just left it on the table. I would never go back to this hotel again.

pleasant staff clean rooms

The Comfort Inn Savage was full of employees who looked like they didn't enjoy their jobs very much. This attitude carried over into how they treat their customers. The hotel had no elevator and we were given a room on the third floor. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and there were visible stains on the box spring and mattress. The pool was decent. The breakfast was passable, although the fruit wasn't fresh. I wished we had stayed a little closer to St. Paul.
