Staff was wonderful. Room had ducktape holding one of the artworks together, mold or mildew in the bathroom tub and sink seels. Heater would work and then start blowing cold air. We stayed on the coldest days of the year.

No variety in breakfast. No fruit . We stayed in a handicap accessible room with adjoining room. Unfortunately the connecting door allowed us to hear everything . Loud tv late,early riser alarm not turned off for 10 minutes until we pounded on adjoins door The handicap bathroom showed little attention to detail. No hook to hang clothes. Small sink with no shelf or vanity to put one’s toiletries. Other rooms were larger with a shelf outside bathroom. We were there for 12 nites so really made a difference. Staff was great!

It was fine. The pool is SMALL. Can only fit 18 people. There were very minimal guests. No towels at the pool in the morning but there was a half eaten slice of pizza on the table. The room we got was huge, so that was awesome! The breakfast was decent. Could use a new showerhead in the tub. It leaked all over. The beds were pretty good. No elevator. Which would have made a difference when I booked. Our family of 5 comes with a lot of stuff and it was a pain to lug it up the stairs. The hotel is in a good central location.

Used soap in the shower. Hairball in the bed. Carpet was fraying. Main hotel areas smelled like smoke and something odd. Easily the worst continental breakfast I have ever had and I do not have high expectations for an included breakfast. All bread, bagels, English muffins were stale, coffee was undrinkable (and I can drink some bad coffee), not one piece of fresh fruit to be found. Whenever possible, we have chosen AmInn for the past 20 years but this will be the last time.

I booked this hotel because I had an appointment at University of Minnesota Fairview, which I believe is right across the street from this hotel love that it was right next to where I needed to be early in the morning. I did not find out that my appointment was canceled until the day that I checked in or was supposed to check in. I called to cancel. The gentleman was very nice but because it wasn’t 24 hours notice I did not get my money back that I paid for the room so that was disappointing. The cancellation of my appointment was beyond my control. I was not the one that canceled the appointment the medical doctor canceled the appointment so spending $88 on a room and then having to cancel it and not getting that $88 back in this economic time where I can’t even really afford to get a hotel room was disappointing so that is why I gave it a one star review
