The staff was very friendly and helpful. Sometimes when you are at a hotel you feel like you are bugging someone when you ask for something, not here, everyone was very helpful and nice if you asked a question or needed something. Beds were good, not too soft, not too hard. Recently renovated, like the decor. Pool was nice.
Stayed at the Hampton Inn Burnsville due to its proximity to the Burnsville ice arena for hockey practice. No mention of status upon check in, but we were offered waters. We had a king with sofa sleeper on the 4th floor. Due to floor plans the only option is the south side of building so we were close to the highway interchange. I heard the road traffic during the day, but it didn’t bother my sleep a night. The walls were pretty thin, but again didn’t bother us. Bed was comfortable and pillows were great. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options real scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal, waffles, big variety of breads and muffins bagels scones... great coffee. friendly staff especially the breakfast room attendant. The pool and hot tub look very inviting but we didn’t have time this trip. Very convenient to area shopping and restaurants. Will be back if we’re in the area again.
I was able to sleep well at night and then wake up to an excellent variety of breakfast. Had a good hot tub and swimming pool to relax in the evening. I could reach places I want to go easily and fast.
This was our first visit to the Hampton Inn and it was okay. The staff was friendly and we felt the breakfast was better than average. But our bed was so soft that we both woke up with sore backs. Some areas (near elevators) needed a good cleaning, but our room was cleaned well.
Stayed here with another couple because of location and Hilton club. It has everything you would expect for a Hilton Brand. Very Clean, Comfortable rooms, nice hot breakfast and good Coffee. The hot tub worked well, but was very over chlorinated, everyone in our group's eyes were burning. It may be a coincidence, but I have had a chest cold and congestion all week that started literally an hour after getting out of the hot tub. The pool was cold. Other than this issue, everything was great, and we would definitely stay here again. Hopefully they will get the chemical balance right with the hot tub and everything would be perfect!
This Hampton Inn is in a great location right off of the highway. We were checked in by the GM who was genuine and super friendly – loved the free cookies. Plenty of room to park a large trailer and sprinter in the back. Amazing indoor pool and hot tub. Generous complimentary breakfast that featured hot items as well – with a larger than usual window of opportunity – till 10am. There are other food options in walking distance as well but my party didn’t require them as the breakfast was great. The rooms were super clean and comfy – I’ve stayed in a million Hamptons and this one is above par for the course (which is pretty good already). Friendly and attentive staff with a well maintained property = we’ll be back and drive out of the way for a return visit. Much gratitude, A+
My family and I stayed here one night recently. Picked this Hampton based on its location very near Buck Hill ski/tube, and its rating on TA. Also I am a Honors Diamond so we prefer Hilton family hotels. Overall I can't rate this over an average stay, here's why....we had a two queen room on 4th floor and did digital check in so we did not interact with the front desk much except to get a couple hard keys. Front desk lady very nice and offered us two waters, but made no mention of Honors status. Cleanliness of hotel was fine. Beds were not good, both mattresses were shot and were concave to the middle so we could not escape the middle of the bed. Bathroom overhead light was half burned out and flickered like a strobe light. Bathroom mirror light totally burned out. Seems like housekeeping should be checking these things?? Breakfast the next morning was typical good Hampton so no issues there. We made the front desk aware of our room issues upon checkout so they could be addressed. We like Hampton a lot and stay frequently, but this one ranks a half step below in our experience. Greater attention to detail could cure this.
We were down with friends for a competition at Buck Hill and stayed a night here. The staff and front desk were above and beyond polite and friendly and willing to make it the best stay. They did not disappoint. The breakfast was excellent for continental. The place was clean and tidy. All very reasonable. Most impressive.
Hotel and rooms are clean and updated, great breakfast offering, friendly staff and management. There is a pool and hot tub which is clean and not busy on weekends. Friendly to families and great location for those traveling for business. It is near the Burnsville Center shopping area and many restaurants as well if you need to waste some time. Great place to stay in the south metro area!
Excellent service, great food, very nice rooms. The front desk is very accommodating and helpful. The free hot breakfast is great. It is very plentiful with any options one could imagine for having a nice, filling breakfast. A very nice touch is the afternoon, evening cookie tray out front. I highly recommend this hotel to all travelers !
