Loved room - coffee (with french vanilla cream!!) and fruit available all day - complementary breakfast plus a to go bag for breakfast or lunch when in a hurry - bed comfortable - easy access to restaurants

I normally have good things to say about Hampton Inn hotels but this hotel was very disappointing and I actually only stayed ONE of my two nights because it was so bad. The WiFi went out only 1 hour into our stay at the hotel and never worked during the rest of our stay at this hotel. Many other guests, including myself complained but the front desk said there's nothing they could do. As a result, I was unable to get ANY of my urgent business done and my video conferences I had set up with suppliers overseas had to be cancelled which might result in my losing those accounts. Also, I came back to my hotel room late my first night and when I went to take a shower, there was NO hot water. I ran the water for a good 20 minutes only to find out the water stayed cold. This was very disappointing. Also when I first came into my room, it had a strong, musty smell to it but the hotel was full so I knew I could not change rooms. I turned the AC on and many hours later the room was still warm and was not able to remove the musty smell from the room. I paid GOOD money in advance for a 2 night stay in this hotel because we were scheduled to leave Monday morning but I couldn't even stay in this hotel on Sunday night because it was so bad. I couldn't stay in this hotel for a 2nd night knowing there was NO hot water in my shower, NO Wifi and a very poor AC unit in my room. We actually just left the hotel and actually paid to check into another hotel even though I already paid for my room. I feel like this hotel just stole my money from me. I had a very unpleasant stay and I feel like there's nothing I can do about it and yet I have been a longtime, loyal member of HHonors.

We stayed here while in town for wedding we stayed here because price was better than some others in area. The rooms were nice and beds comfortable. We were impressed with the breakfast and friendliness of the staff.

Convenient location between 35W and 35E. That being said, there was some noise from traffic if you are a light sleeper. The room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices and tasted great. Staff was very helpful. I would stay here again.

The staff greeted us pleasantly, assigned our room efficiently, and wished us a good day. The room was very clean, new-looking, and large. The breakfast buffet included hot food, meat, eggs, waffles, already-cooked oatmeal, fruit, juices, rolls, etc. One of the front desk staff helped us to clear our dishes when finished.

I was using a large amount of Hilton Honors points that I had built up over time for a family weekend getaway and booked at the Hampton in Burnsville because we had stayed there in the past and it was a decent place. When we arrived, the entire hotel was covered in plastic and under construction. There were several JLG lifts at the hotel and not only were they working on the entire face of the hotel, but they were working on the roof and we were on the top floor so all day long they were walking loudly and pounding on the roof. The staff was great at the hotel, but there was not ANY notification on the site when I booked the hotel and I would have chose a completely different location since we were staying for 3 days and using the points that I had accumulated for so long and waited to use for a special occasion. I was extremely disappointed.

I looked specifically for a Hampton Inn after a series of unfamiliar hotels on this trip. This one is worth going out just a little farther from the more expensive ones. Easy to get to. The exterior is being remodeled - don't be put off by the plastic wrapped exterior. Very clean & seems to be done so things are safe & no other distractions. Since I was car Dick after not sleeping at all the next night before, I asked for a late check out. The clerk said he'd check to make sure there were enough rooms open to let us, and said it was possible. 1:00pm check out! Which was good as my husband hadn't slept well either night. He slept in while the kids swam & I tried the hot tub. Ok, only disappointment, as the large pool room was pretty warm & the hot tub smelled like they just added bleach. My legs felt a little chemical feel so I got out of the hot tub before I ended up with a rash, which I've had before from too much chemicals. Too hot with breathing the air over in the hot tub area for me. I can't do that warm of air with a hot tub. Cool air, hot water = perfect. Nice plus though is they have adults only in the hot tub from 11pm to midnight. The pool and hot tub were extremely clean. Pool seemed just right with chlorine. Lots of towels ready to use in pool area. Sitting areas with tables. Good job. Side note - the tub worked great for my private hot tub! Roomy, very clean, clean hot water, good water pressure. Lots of clean towels. Happy camper here. Breakfast was Hampton nice. I just love this hotel chain! Little fold over cheese-filled "western omelettes" with mild chopped bell peppers in the eggs. Rolled up pancakes with blueberry pie filling. Hot oatmeal already cooked plus toasted almonds, cranberry & raisin blend, and evaporated cane juice (they call it brown sugar but those who know it love it). Yogurts, "lite" & regular without artificial sweeteners. Cut up peeled orange sections, pineapple. Apples & bananas. Waffle maker & whipped cream & two syrups. Muffins, toast, bagels, quick breads, English muffins, boiled eggs, peanut butter, jellies, honey, juice fountain, skim milk, 2% milk, and really good coffee ( robust & regular & decaf) & Bigelow variety teas. Adorable paper coffee cups with different mustaches & lips printed on them, & decorated cute cup sleeves. Very clean. Staff were friendly & cheerful in background. Beds - soft top but firm underneath, not so soft you hurt, firm enough for firm lovers. The perfect beds. The sheets & bedding - heavenly. Neutrogena bath products. Very excellent cubbies in the bathroom for putting your towels, personal items, phone, etc. we stayed on the first floor & it was quiet all night. On the other side of my wall was a not loud couple of thumps, but otherwise I recommend this place for a quiet super comfortable stay. Oh and when we found we needed another set of towel & wash cloth & hand towel, I offered to get them but the clerk brought them rapidly to our door. And three times the amount. Love this place. Staff are clean in appearance, looking more professional than some more worn sloppy people working elsewhere. Upbeat & cheerful looking & acting. Nothing worse than staff who talk about their miseries & look more tired or grumpy than the travelers. This was such a good experience. Thanks for the pleasant experience!

We stayed at the Hampton inn for one night. Staff was friendly and hotel was clean. Swam in the pool which was very clean with plenty of towels, can be quite noisy if a lot of people are using it. Breakfast was good, small breakfast area and was not able to find a seat. There is exterior work going on so we could not see out our window but I don't believe there was much of a view.

Based on TA reviews, I booked this hotel for a colleague and me for a business trip. I am not saying this was a bad place, just solidly average. The lobby is small along with the breakfast area. Check-in went OK - the attendant re-sent the electronic room key to my phone. The room was decent: bed was OK, pillows were a little less than decent, the bathroom seemed a little small and the exhaust fan was worthless, climate control was OK. There was a bit of noise from the adjoining interstate but it was not overwhelming. Breakfast fare was also quite decent. There is simply nothing that made this hotel stand out in my mind.

Very nice, updated hotel. Greeted by 2 young gentlemen who were very professional and wanted to make sure that I had my Hilton Honors on file to get the points for the stay. I enjoy having the complimentary carry out brown bag breakfast option that I use for my lunch. Definitely a plus!
