I was disappointed about the pool. First, the waterslide for the pool was off limit to guests; I felt that it was misleading. Secondly, the pool sign said opens from 6:00AM to 12:00AM, but the staff told us that it closes at 10:00PM. The hotel could have put a temporary sign to reflect the new hours. Aside from that, there were clean room, great staff and amenities.

The hotel was just okay. Breakfast was limited—only eggs and sausage made by the attendant, and neither were ready when we arrived. Once they were cooked, they disappeared quickly. Other options were yogurt, cold cereal, bananas, waffles, and very hard bagels. The elevator stopped working, and although the pool was open Friday evening, it was closed Saturday morning during posted hours. The attendant also said no beverages in the pool area, not even water!

I have stayed at this same hotel for the last 3 years during the state fair. I feel the cleanliness was worse this year. I opened my room and it smelt like wet dog. And there were stains on the carpet. My guess this was a pet friendly room. That maybe the stains were from a dog? If so, gross. Also, there is ALOT of us that come down in groups. We are not allowed to eat in the pool area and too many for us all to be in one room. There was no access for us to sit in the breakfast area to eat.
