We were very excited to stay in the old brewery. We have stayed in other places in Milwaukee that were much more reasonable, but we thought it would be a unique experience. Upon arrival, the greeter told us that he didn’t really know what we would do for overnight parking with motorcycles. There is no parking for the hotel, valet won’t allow you to park motorcycles yourself, and to park on the street overnight we needed a permit from the city. The entrance was unique, but the interior near the rooms felt a bit like a prison. The “courtyard” area inside was neat with the old brewing tanks. However, when people were in that area chatting it was so loud in your room. The room to the door did not latch well, so a couple of times we realized that our door wasn’t fully closed. For a full kitchen, it was under supplied. We didn’t have any dish soap or dishwasher soap. There were no towels or wash cloths in the kitchen either. The space was small and very much a part of the bedroom for a studio. The bedroom lost most of its character because all the character was all covered up. The room was very dark. The breakfast was very basic. If you come into town, save yourself money, stay in a much nicer place, have a place to park a bike if you ride, and get all of the character you should expect at the Iron Horse.

Great staff easy check in process clean room and a bar on sight

Will not be back. Cool building with many unique architectural structures. Staff were not welcoming and more concerned with phones. Ordered food from On Tap and was unimpressed with food quality. Continental breakfast was very limited.

very clean. unique property very industrial. hallway was loud from the lobby, noise echoes. Food at attached restaurant was expensive and not great.

PBR!

The old brewery kettles were really neat.

We truly enjoy the quiet and elegant atmosphere of the Brewhouse Inn & Suites, and also appreciate the on-site pub and continental breakfast. The gift shop also has both fun and useful items (and ice cream!). A few more options for the breakfast would be welcomed, but overall, this is a great location that allows access to the downtown without being in the midst of crowds and noise.

Loved the old world brewery history vibe! Room layout was unique and special. Staff were excellent! Would have liked clock in the room along with reading light near the bed.

Beautiful hotel, great staff and you can walk to just about everything or take a short ride/Uber to other popular places. Will stay again!

Staff were all friendly. Room was comfy and quiet. The inside of the hotel is the most historically interesting place we’ve ever stayed. The fact that it’s in a old beer factory is fascinating. They’ve tried to keep/use pieces from the original factory. Our headboard was made from wood from original beams. The room was spacious with a kitchenette. The bathroom was also large and well appointed. The beer vats are still in place and can be seen from the balconies on each floor. The original stained glass is stunning with a wonderful story too. It looks at first like you’re in a very quiet area. But we realized the second day there was two breweries within two blocks. And The Best House (where PBR first started being brewed a few hundred years ago) is around the corner. The tour is a must do and there’s a bar there with inexpensive beer. But back to the hotel… there’s a bar and restaurant attached to the hotel. We did not eat there but enjoyed a beer there our first night. I told my husband I hope we can get a room here for such a great deal next time we visit because this is the only place I want to stay!

Such a beautiful building. Rooms were huge and clean. The had a couple concerns when we got into our room as the bathroom sink was not draining well. However, they sent maintenance immediately and the results were excellent.

The work and restoration done at this building is simply amazing. Our room was as large as a city apartment, and had a wonderful floor-to-ceiling view on one side. The gift shop has many unique items, including artist's prints of the renovation of the warehouse, and there is a very convenient pub and restaurant on site. We loved our stay!

The Brewhouse Inn was amazing! Felt like being away on vacation although I only live 20mins away! The suite was cozy, felt like home! The details of the hotel were also beautiful! I’ll surely be booking another staycation here. My girlfriend and I can never seem to agree on keeping the room cool or warm, she wanted to included that the heat “kicked in” right away, which she loved! Lol
