Loved the small kitchen and large refrigerator. No elevators was a bit of an inconvenience

Art Deco style. Rooms nice, if not a little small. Excellent kitchens in rooms.

The Plaza is a unique hotel with nice touches, and the front desk staff was unbeatable!

My room needed substantial updating despite stated missions to maintain 1930's look. Lobby, café and dining areas were fantastic: well preserved and maintained. Service and breakfast were excellent and I recommended to Milwaukee residents who had never heard of the plaza.

Charming, comfortable, kitchenette, and conventient location! Friendly staff too.

The Plaza offers a warm reception, clean facilities, nice beds, kitchenettes and warm rooms (it’s winter.) But no elevators.

Overall we had a great stay. Friendly staff helped us with any questions we had. It’s an older hotel so expect some deterioration but they do a very good job with up keep. The rooms are average but give you everything you need: a bed, tv, stove, fridge, etc. we used our time exploring Milwaukee so no need to waste money on a pricey room just to sleep. It’s walking distance from Lake Michigan and the art museum and a quick Uber ride to a lot of other attractions. We took in a concert and visited the Milwaukee public museum along wit a walk on the shoreline and a visit to the art museum. If you want a great breakfast, try the cafe at the plaza. Priced about right but very high quality food. There is also a gyro place right on the corner for a late night bite of necessary. Overall a very positive experience I will be sure to do again.

The Plaza has a convenient location, across the street from a well-stocked Metro Mart and close to some museums and highways. The room is basic with a double bed rather than queen. Recommended for people on a budget.

Had a lovely 2 night stay here on a weekend. Only a few blocks from the lake, a few more blocks the other way and you're right in town with plenty of places to go. The building is an older place that's been fixed up and modernized. Room was large, nice big closet, I even had my own full kitchen!

Our first floor windows were unlocked, the heating unit was not able to be regulated as the silver knob would not turn. The coffee maker was broken. The plumbing in the shower was pulling out of the tiles.

We were in Milwaukee for a weekend getaway and pretty unfamiliar with the city. The Plaza staff was exceptional. Answered questions, provided suggestions. The Plaza is a well maintained 100 year old building full of old world charm. Our room was clean and quaint and just spacious enough. Excellent cafe. We will be back!!

Overall good bang for the buck but this is super old hotel converted to newer features. Conversions are rough (at best) and some very cramped areas. Bathroom tiny and cramped. Biggest issue - water temp in shower was all over the place. I've never felt my skin burn like that under hot water in all my life. Warm to scalding hot instantly which meant jumping out of the stream and not a good start to the morning. Lots of creaks in the floors and somewhat noisy especially if near the stairs.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Told us about a bar that had a free shuttle to Miller park. Room was clean. Building was old but expected

Great stay vacation spot! Suited our needs wonderfully for a room away with dining and lakefront nearby! Highly recommend!
